Acer Iconia 8 is a €199 tablet which , although being cheap , is not cheap on hardware .As the name implies , the tablet has a 8 " IPS display with 1920x1200 resolution . The Android 4.4 interface has been slightly modified by Acer's own touches , but majority of the stock settings on Android have not been changed . The tablet has a Intel Z3745 processor , 2GB of Ram and 16/32GB onboard storage , which can be expanded via MicroSD card slot. The tablet has a 2MP front camera and 5mp for the rear , overall , the tablet weighs just 350g which is reasonable considering that this is a 8" device with some good specs onboard..
Acer also unveiled a Wearable called Liquid Leap , the wearable is pretty basic and is designed to be a fittness tracker and a music player , The liquid leap is IPX certified for water resistance which means the leap is perfect is you are very sweaty . The device has a 1" display and it pairs with smartphones with Bluetooth 4.0 LE .Price has not been mentioned yet.
Acer Liquid Jade smartphone was also unveiled , This is Acers latest flagship for the Liquid lineup of smartphones. The phone runs on a Quadcore processor and has Android 4.4 out of the box . The phone has a 13MP camera and a 2MP front camera for video calls . The 5"display of the phone is said to be protected by Gorilla glass 3 and it has a 720p resolution.
