Android L is the biggest change to the Android platform since 4.0 ICS in 2011. The platform design has relatively been the similar with the usual Holo theme , and set iconography ,but Android L is said to change all that with the Material design which is Android's latest layout pattern . The date for Android L's official launch is not confirmed as of yet , but we can expect to see it come out in around September . A executive from Motorola meanwhile has spilled the beans on their update schedule explaining that Android L will be avilable for the Motorola Moto X and Moto G which are currently top selling phones from the once Google owned company . The company recently anounced the Moto G 4G edition , and this , along with the Google Play editions , dual sim and single GSM models and the rare Ferrari edition will all rumored to receive the update along with Motorola's current flagship Moto X . Sadly Motorola's Moto E handset is scheduled to reach the end of its update cycle without Android L as it is mainly a budget oriented device with weak hardware .
