If you were eyeing for the new Android wear powered Asus Zen Watch , we have some band news for you , as it turns out , the good looking smartwatch is said to go into limited production that will even surpass the OnePlus One as being the rarest android device ever . With a production of just 300 units (at first) , the Asus Zen Watch will go on sale in Taiwan for about $260 (estimated global retail price) The Zen Watch , which was unveiled at IFA 2014 in Berlin last month was one of the most desirable smartwatches after the round Moto G and LG G Watch R .Like all other Android wear devices , the Zen watch follows Google's locked down policy of hardware and software so basic specs are almost identical to all other Android Wear devices (except Moto 360) .The watch is powered by a 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon 400 processor , 512MB of RAM , 4GB of onboard storage and a 1.63" AMOLED display with Gorilla Glass protection and a IP certification .The stainless steel design , the clever heart rate monitor placement and "Italian Leather" straps makes the device look a lot like a luxury watch from a timepeice manufacturer , but at $260 the watch is a good steal , but sadly with the watch going into limited production , many of us who wanted to get it might have to fight tooth and claw (on Ebay) to get one .
