MWC - What we can expect in a few hours

MWC - mobile world congress 2016 is set to kick off in a few hours time , the show -used by mobile technology companies to show off most of their flagship models for the year is held annually and this year is also set to take off with a bang .Samsung , who is set to launch their Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in a few hours will be joined by LG who would also launch their flagship LG G5 on the same day . Other companies such as Sony , Microsoft , Alcatel are also set to join in with their new devices and so far have we have raked up details and leaks of the upcoming devices in order to give you a overview of what you will get to see today (Feb 21)

LG is preparing to launch their 2016 flagship at MWC , the phone , a successor to the LG G4 from last year is set to pack a metal design and a new camera layout while keeping true to its removable batttery traditions , the phone is expected to carry the following specs

Samsung is holding the second biggest hit device at MWC 2016 , the Samsung Galaxy S7 - leaked in both the regular and Edge variants is probably the next king smartphone everyone is raving about .The handset is said to incorporate a familiar design - glass and metal unibody chassis which looks similar to the S6 versions launched last year ,but unlike last year many features which were dropped in the S6 - MicroSD expansion and Water resistance and a bigger battery is said to make a comeback. The specs for the rumored S7 versions are as follows .

Huawei 

Huawei is set to launch a number of Windows 10 mobile and Windows 10 powered tablets at MWC , they are also rumored to showcase their P9 smartphone

Sony 

Sony is set to announce one or two midrange handsets at MWC , although rumors of a Z5 replacement are running around as well , but this can not be verified as no information has surfaced yet

Alcatel 

Alcatel will launch their Idol 4 series at MWC , as usual they will also launch a plethora of smaller budget Android handsets and tablets at the event.

Blackberry 

Blackberry is rumored to launch a second Android handset at MWC , the device is code named Vienna

Gionee 

Gionee is set to announce their Gionee Elife P8 handset at MWC

iPad (2022) and iPad Pro with M2 announced

Apple has announced their latest iteration of the iPad (entry level model) and the iPad Pro lineup with the new M2 processor. The event, held on the 18th of October as a recorded session displayed the key features of the iPads with the most significant being the base model iPad which has now received an upgrade. iPad 2022 This model of the base model iPad ditches the almost 12 year old home button and display layout and goes for a cleaner display only design found on the iPad Air . The chassis, which now comes with flatter sides and a TouchID fingerprint sensor on the top has also abandoned the lightning port in favor of USB C and it also comes with a set of pogo style connectors for accessories including a keyboard with trackpad.  Internally, the iPad comes either as a Wifi only (Wifi6) and a 5G cellular model and is offered with 64 or 256GB of storage.
