Microsoft Office for iPad is now official
The Microsoft Office suite for iPad is now official , packing the usual Word,PowerPoint and Excel packages the app is free to download .Office for iPad is said to be fully optimized for the iPad's screen estate and is not similar to the iPhone edition .The catch in the free app is that you can only view and handle pre made presentations (sync'ed through iTunes) and if you want to edit the content , you have to pay for a Office 365 subscription which starts at $100 for a year and $80 for a university edition,and if you want , you can also try a 30 day trial once you sign through Office.com

Although you have to pay a premium for Office on iPad , the Android and iPhone mobile versions of Office suite are available for free without any strings attached . The Office app is free to download on both platforms and you don't need a office subscription to edit its content.The .The android version however has some limitations because the app is not compatible with any Tablet devices , The app will fail to install beyond a certain screen size and therefore editing on a Android smartphone will surely be a bit of a task .hopefully Microsoft will introduce a Office app for Android tablets so that they won't be left out .
