Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2

Tamron has officially announced their long awaited SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD G2 or 24-70mm f2.8 G2 for short , which officially replaces the previous generation 24-70 medium zoom from 2012 . The new lens , which comes with the model number A032 is available for Nikon F mount and Canon's EF mount . The new G2 lens , which like the rest of Tamron's new generation lineup features a satin finish which gives it a more monolithic and a more upscale look when compared to the copper ringed models from a few years back .although looks are not important , the latest design trend does mean that the kit will match perfectly with the Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 G2 model which was announced a few months back(if you are after a Tamron holy trinity collection that is ) Anyways , the insides are what counts and in that regard , the new lens will surely outperform the older model as it now features 5 stops of vibration control (best in class) and fast autofocus thanks to dual embedded microprocess

RED to anounce a new modular camera system

BMPCC via - Newshooter/Lockport RED - a company that has produced many great cinema camera systems is apparently rumored to be working on a modular platform which may be announced on the 6th of July 9next month) . The new camera system , which according to Newsshooter  , is said to be a new product category which wont rival current red cameras in any way . Although we are not sure of what they meant by it , some hints do shine on the fact that the new camera will be a small , modular camera system (similar to Blackmagic Pocket cinema camera) . Currently , RED is working on custom Super 35 sensors with PL or EF (and F formerly) mounts and therefore having a lower tier product below the RED raven (for drones and hand held gimbals) with the highly successful Micro 43 sensor (same as the BMPCC) or a custom sensor (the Newsshooter article listed below has ore info on that btw) will be a good move as it will open up the market for new customers . As for authenticity of these rumors , do

Although the camera is set to take on other rivals such as the Nikon D3400 , recent improvements in the mirrorless world does mean that this camera might have to slug it out with other -more advanced systems at its starting price of $549 . The camera therefore aimed at those who want a decent Canon dslr camera for light work and starting out on YouTube/vlogging. Written by Rakitha for MasHD via - usa.canon Press Rele

Canon EOS 6D MKII is official

Canon has officially announced their latest entry level full frame DSLR camera . The new model , based on the previous 6D is given the title - 6D Mk 2 in Canon's traditional naming scheme . Starting from the design , the new camera still uses a hybrid metal and polycarbonate frame and is apparently the lightest 35mm DSLR in Canon camera in production yet . The new camera also has a fully articulating touchscreen display a - la Canon 80D (but at 3") . The body is also weather resistant. Switching over to the internals , we can clearly see ( based on previously leaked info )that the new 6Dmk2 has major improvements over its predecessor from 2012 in the photography department . For starters ,the biggest complaint of the 6D was its AF (more like the lack of it) , but the new model has 45 all cross type AF points  and is also assisted by Canon's excellent PDAF - phase detection AF which brings very significant upgrades over the one it replaces , the megapixels have als

Lets talk about the upcoming Canon 6D Mark 2 ......

via - Nokishita Camera Canon's full frame lineup has so far been a 3 tier system , at the top of the food chain , we have the 1DX's offspring - the elite race , below that , you have the general workhorse lineup - the 5D series , and if you go a bit down , you find the Canon 6D - a model that is popular among amateur wedding photogs and a second body option for those who own a 5D model . But like all entry level models , the 6D was slightly neutered when compared to the higher end models , and this , along with the fact that both Sony and Nikon have 2 camera models to fight in the same category does mean that the 6D remained on the short end of the stick when specs are compared , however , a camera is still a tool , and so far I have seen many people shoot excellent work with this camera( eventhough the autofocus is not the best ) ,so the next model will definitely be a "kickass" camera (even if it gets destroyed by angry mobs who would probably pick on this a
