The OnePlus One is one of the most highly anticipated devices of the year with massive undercut prices over other flagships , the phone drew massive amounts of internet hype and personally i too am expecting to get my own "One" when the phone hits production , after following the official Oneplus forums and joining in the conversations , and reading related articles online , i got to know the official production procedure of the smartphone . Nokia Q1 figures show 30% drop in sales before Microsoft acquisition , new ceo for Microsoft Mobile

Nokia was not at its best when the company was sold off to Microsoft ,the once great smartphone company lost huge chunks of its mobile empire and this eventually lead to its downfall .Five days ago, Nokia was sold off to Microsoft who said that further details about Nokia's future and its first quarter financial records will be further explained on the 29th (Last night) of April .As it turns out , the first quarter sales for Nokia , Microsoft Mobile has dropped by 30% mainly due to strong competition by rival platforms like Android and iOs,and the loss of interest on featurephones. Nokia's handset division has total earnings of $2.6Billion  compared to $3.16Billion from the same period last year, first quarter losses are also bad as Nokia lost $424 million compared to the $101 million from Q1 2013 ,However Nokia hopes to make a turn around with its Microsoft integration and new CEO Rajeev Suri . Microsoft acquires Nokia for $7.9 Billion ,R.I.P Nokia , Hello Microsoft Mobile

The deal is done - the $7.5 billion acquisition of Nokia by Microsoft is complete , the move completly transfers all of Nokia's devices and services(except for the producion factories in Masan - South Korea , Nokia Chennai) the South Korean plant in Masan and the Chennai plant(rumored to be under a possible legal dispute with the Indian Government) is said to close down , the factory employed over 200 staff , and these employees along with the ones in the Nokia Chennai factory will be given financial assisance to seek employment elsewhere. Further details about the transaction will  be released on the 29th , Nokia's Microsoft mobile's financial results for the quarter , the fate of the Chennai plant and the fate of its Nokia Android devices and the Asha lineup will be explained then . The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is said to feature a tri-sided display made from YOUM technology . The rumors about such a device are not new , but today we have a actual patent listing for such a device which shows a main screen wrapped around the edges . Microsoft -Nokia deal to be complete on the 25th of April , Nokia name replaced by Microsoft Mobile

The move by Microsoft to acquire the Nokia devices and services was planned for a very long time , but the average customer didn't realize any difference in the Nokia brand name . But now , the final move is set to rename the once iconic phone manufacturer from Nokia Corporation to Microsoft Mobile OY which means that the household name will cease to exist as "Nokia" from the 25th .The move will give Microsoft access to both the smartphoneand featurephone divisions and factories of Nokia and its forums and official website . The Nokiabrandname is expected to be replaced by Microsoft Mobile , but the "Lumia" trademark is said to continue even as the company goes to Redmond . Rumors about a Amazon smartphone have been around since 2012 ,but now after years of development ,the said smartphone is probably ready for launch thanks to the latest leaked pictures thanks to BGR. Russia is a hot spot for motoring related accidents , with sudden acts of road-rage , fistfights and frontal collisions, driving around ,even in a urban environment can be quite a challenge , but now , Russia has come back into the motoring limelight thanks to this spooky video from Russia . The video shows a BMW turning left at a intersection , the dash-cam video is recorded by another driver behind the BM ,as both cars turn , the BM hits the brakes very hard ,and right then , another car appeared right in front of the BM ,missing the BM by inches to spare , the spooky-ness of the video was further enhanced thanks to a set of headlights from another vehicle on the opposite end showing a driverless- empty car moving across the road . The HTC One M8 is a serious looker , the unibody design and the metal build gives the user a sense of luxury and sophistication , but with the recent economic downturn , the company is rumored to shift to a more economic solution by making a plastic version of the HTC One M8 .According to the report, the HTC One M8 is currently sold for 5299 ($853) in China ,the plastic version however is said to cost around half the price at ($483). If you haven't heard about Marussia Motors before , you can be excused , The Russian sports car manufacturer founded by Nikolai Fomenko has made some effort to gain some publicity through their Formula 1 team but due to lack of sales and a firm market grip , the employees have left their posts to find employment at a government run -technical institute . Marussia motors produced their first sports car the Marussia B1 in 2010 and later produced the limited production Marussia B2 which is the last model to come out of the Russian manufacturer . The manufacturer had plans for a SUV called F2 and a hardcore version of the B2 , but now those concepts have met their end .The Marussia F1 team has not gone underground however and is still active , now owned by Marussia communications Ireland , the company formally ended its links with the auto manufacturer and so the Ferrari powered team and still lives on. Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 and 810 will bring 64Bit processing power to future mobile devices

Qualcomm has officially unveiled their new 64Bit mobile processors - the Snapdragon 808 and the 810 , The processors lead the new squadron of 64bit processors starting with the low end Snapdragon 410, 610 and 615 , The 808 is the lower spec'ed version of the two processors .The Snapdragon 808 uses 2 Cortex A57 cores and has 4 A53 cores making it a "Hexa-core" processor , The 808 has a new GPU called Adreno 418 , the Adreno 418 GPU puts it 30% ahead of the Adreno 330 found on the Snapdragon 800 but it slips under the Adreno 420 found on the Snapdragon 805 . The 808 has a 64-bit wide LPDDR3-933 interface ,giving it a 1,866MHz data rate and 15GB/s bandwidth , the Chip has a H265/HEVC decoder ISP but it can not encode it .The processor is only rated for a maximum resolution of 2560x1600 . Microsoft waves "goodbye" to Window XP , software support officially ends today

After completing a decade of service , Microsoft has finally pulled the plug on the aged Windows XP operating system today , the move was scheduled in advance , but many companies have not upgraded most of older their work terminals , so the software still exists in a Zombified form . Microsoft  has agreed to provide such companies with a Custom service support suite -which will help them migrate their devices to a never version of Windows (TM) but this is sadly not available for consumers ,so if you haven't switched from Windows XP yet ,it is high time you consider a upgrade .
