GoPro Hero 6 and GoPro Fusion 360 unveiled

The action camera market has seen a relative boom during the past few years . Although much of the success can be attributed to Chinese brands like Xiaomi's Yi,  SJcam  (and hundreds of GoPro knockoff brands ) . The main player is still GoPro and therefore their latest announcement is important not only from a company standpoint , but also as a major driving force in the industry . The Hero 6 improves on the Hero 5 in many areas,but the design and core functionality has not changed .Therefore the Hero6 is a faster Hero 5 with the major changes being The new 4K 60fps , the new quickstories function and the faster wifi plus GoPro's custom image processor .While these features are expected of a high end action camera ,the Hero6's success will mostly depend on how well the 4k/60fps holds up against the new wave of high end smartphones which can do just that . K Pan is a 3D printed camera designed to shoot on 120 film

Kickstarter projects have come a long way with the advent of 3D printing ,Inventor  Paul Kohlhaussen - who envisioned a creatively designed medium format camera , started work on what he called the K-Pan camera (a modular system where you can print your customized accessories and spare parts ) . The camera , designed in the shape of a reversed loudspeaker , features a SLS Nylon composite body with a coating of mustard yellow paint to give it some pizzazz in a world of slate color cameras . The body , which features a pop off plate for the 120 film , a cold shoe , a quarter inch tripod plate , a bellows like focusing system and metallic inserts and screws holding the knobs , buttons and of course the mount for the 4x5 lens which you will need to supply yourself with . Profoto has officially announced their latest strobe/speedlight unit called the Profoto A1 . The unit , designed around Profoto's wireless lighting solutions , allows A1 users to control other master/slave connected  Profoto gear using the built in Air remote .The speedlight part , which consists of a rechargeable Li-ion which gives the flash a 0.05s - 1.2s recycle time and about 350 full power 1/1 shots before requiring a new pop in battery .  With support for TTL and HSS , the flash is certainly capable in meeting the demands of working professionals . The Fresnel head , which houses a magnetic circular clip , can hold magnetically connected dome diffusers and filters  allowing the A1 to basically work without any 3rd party accessories out of the box. Rumor - Zenit's Mirrorless camera to feature Leica internals .

Photo credits - Calvertjournal Zenit - a once popular brand during the 70's and 80s disappeared into the pages of history after the fall of the Soviet Union . Apple has officially announced their latest version of their Apple TV console . The new unit , unveiled beside the new iPhone X and the iPhone 8/8 Plus brings 4K and  HDR(Dolby HDR 10) support for all your streaming content as the previous generation model was slowly eclipsed of its shortcomings . The new unit , powered by Apple's new A10X Fusion chip , allows the unit to crunch high definition content , demanding online mobile games and content streaming to your UHD capable TV via Gigabit Ethernet  or dual band wifi - 2.4 Ghz /5Ghz . Fujifilm has officially announced their latest Mirrorless interchangeable lens camera . The new Fujifilm X-E3 brings a 24.3MP APS-C sensor , UHD 4K recording and a good AF system all packed into a sleek rangefinder body . Sony has been teasing about their 35mm cinema camera for a few months now. The camera , which was said to be a member of  Sony's High End CineAlta series was rumored to bring a whole new sensor category to the lineup which has so far been exclusively Super 35 (APS-H) . And now , after months of speculation , the product is finally official . Say hello to the Sony CineAlta Venice .
