OnePlus to launch a drone ?

OnePlus has teased the internet with a possible mention of a Drone today . The rumors , which stem from Reddit's AMA time has detailed the upcoming item as being neither a smartwatch or a tablet , but a remote drone called DR-1 (possibly Drone One ) . Although the introduction of such a device is rather odd for a one year old company , the introduction of such a product might be a signal that OnePlus might be looking to saturate the market with multiple products rather than just sticking to traditional smartphones . The mystery drone is expected to be unveiled next month (April- hopefully not on the first  )  We've been playing with our new drone and shot this photo of our building at night. What do you want to see next? #OnePlusLife A photo posted by OnePlus (@oneplustech) on Jan 8, 2015 at 2:50am PST Written By Rakitha for MasHD Source - GSMArena

Moto X 2015 (Gen 3) will be launched

According to a Ask me anything (AMA) under the #AskRickO , Motorola's current president explained that the next gen Motorola Moto X will be launched according to Motorola's annual cycle which falls somewhere in the months of August and September . The phone , which is said to be packing a high end Snapdragon 8xx processor is probably going to jump either to the Snapdragon 815 or the Snapdragon 820 instead of the somewhat "hot" snapdragon 810 which has been blamed for  heat issues on some current flagship devices . The phone , along with this processor might face stiff competition - especially from Samsung as they are expected to launch their next Note during the same time frame . . @northead we try to stay on a roughly annual cycle for all of our products including Moto X. #AskRickO — Rick Osterloh (@rosterloh) March 25, 2015 Written By Rakitha for MasHD Source - GSMArena

HTC E9+ leaks out

HTC has a tough time controlling leaks , the upcoming  E9+ are no exception as they too are supposedly leaked out today in their press render form . The E series , which in the past was considered to be  HTC's "plastic" twin of the metal clad "One" series is now slowly turning into a class of its own as the processor has been changed to a Mediatek one rather than one from HTC's usual supplier - Qualcomm. The processor in question is Mediatek's MTK6795 which is paired with 3GB of RAM . The display of the phone however is said to be en par with flagship models as it has a 5.5" 2K (QHD) resolution , the phone also has a 20MP rear module which is also similar to the once used on the current flagship . The phone , which will be available in Space grey , Gunmetal black white along with gold or rose accents (for the White model) will be unveiled possibly along side HTC's One M9+ next month . HTC's upcoming T1H tablet specs leak out , familiar design on tow

Although HTC made a decent Nexus tablet , the company is still behind in producing a one with some "Sense" on it , but all that is about to end as HTC prepares to introduce one this year . Say hello to the T1H , a new leak in the device leak pond , the design of the talet - which looks quite familiar as the tablet is based on a stretched HTC One is probably not the best looking thing out there , although the tablet has looks that only a mother can love , the innards are also so - so as the main Soc is a 28nm Allwinner H8 Octa core Soc which packs 8 Cortex A7 cores along with a SGX544 Gpu . The device also packs a 4:3 aspect ratio on its 8.9" display which has a rather odd 2048x1530 resolution  Other specs include 2GB of RAM , 16 or 32GB of storage ,  a 6700 mAh battery and a ultra thin 7.88 chassis which might be made out of aluminium. Due to the "old" hardware specs ,  Dual front firing "Boomsound" speakers are also said to be present The device

LG's G4 leaks out in full form , stylus onboard?

LG has kept its upcoming G4 under wraps , but renders and press posters of the device were leaked a few times but today we have the device in flesh and blood - more like silicon and glass (thanks to XDA developers) . Presenting the new LG G4 , this handset , like its previous brethren - the LG G2 and G3 will continue the family tradition of rear mounted buttons and curvy designs , but unlike the last iterations , the new G4 is rumored to pack a stylus - which was originally rumored to be only a feature of the "phablet" version which will be released on another time . The G4  leak also shows us that the device in its current form runs Android 5.0.2  along with some heavy UI tweaks . The LG G4 is expected to pack a 2K (QHD) resolution display of about 5.2- 5.5" along with a Qualcomm snapdragon 810 Soc , 3GB of RAM  and a 16 mp camera with two tone flash and a Laser rangefinder for autofocus . HTC One M9+ leaks out ....

HTC is no stranger to launching dozens of similar looking smartphones and the upcoming One M9+ is no exception . According to new leaks , the One M9+ looks very similar to the old One M8 along with some Samsung-esque design ques up front . For starters , we have a dual camera set up ,this according to preliminary specs will work in a similar fashion to the M8 , but the main camera's resolution has been increased to 20.7MP  which is a huge improvement over its 4mp predecessor . The rest of the phone will be made out of HTC's favorite metal and the familiar boom sound speakers are split in the bottom half to include a bar type fingerprint sensor . The HTC One M9+ , unlike its "hot" M9 sibling, is said to pack a Mediatek processor , the processor in question is Mediatek's MT6795T , this is a Octa core unit comprising of 64bit cores (yes , this phone will run the 64bit version of Android 5.0 with Sense 7)  and PowerVRG6200 GPU cores with 3GB of RAM  .The dis

The phone has a Snapdragon 800 Soc . 2GB of RAM , 16GB of internal storage along with a Micro SD card slot . The phone still retains the water resistance and it also has a new metal frame which is probably a indication as to how future Xperias such as the (Z4) would look like . Microsoft Lumia 430 announced

With Microsoft working hard to promote its Windows Phone platform , cutting corners and making phones accessible to the low end market is probably the best option they have on the table right now , With the announcement of the Lumia 520 , things looked good for the platform , but now its about to get a whole lot better thanks to the announcement of the new Lumia 430 . The Lumia 430 - which sits below the already cheap Lumia 5xx platform is priced at $70 off contract , the internals of the phone remind us of the Lumia 520 as this model is also equipped with the same 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon 200 Soc , but unlike the old model - this has 1GB of ram - making it eligible for the upcoming Windows (phone) 10 update . The rest of the phone is basically a mix of old parts and new ones , for starters , we have a 2MP fixed focus camera and a VGA front facing one for skype , the 4" display also has a low resolution of 480x800 - which by all means is still great for the price . You get 8GB of in

Nexus 5 is no more , Google finally retires 2 year old handset

Google's mighty work horse smartphone - the Nexus 5 has finally reached its end . The phone , which was probably the most well received and the most popular nexus device to date was originally introduced in late 2013 and now after nearly (2 years) , Google has pulled the sales plug . The phone , which showcased Android 4.4.4 KitKat had some beastly specs for its time , the device had a 1080p display , a 8mp rear camera with optical image stabilization and a then flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Soc and 2 GB of RAM , the starting price of the device - $349 made it a hit among tech lovers and casual users alike , this , combined with the Nexus 6's expensive price , made the Nexus 5 a affordable alternative to enter the Nexus family , and therefore it was kept on sale until today . Although Google dropped the Nexus 5 off its website , the device will still receive Android updates for another year or two , and with a large developer community , the phone will probably keep r

Apple watch is finally ready for the masses , pre orders start next month

A lot has been said and done , but Apple didn't officially launch the pilot Apple watch program until today .Although Apple made the Apple watch take the spotlight , they still had enough time allocated to announce satisfaction records (which stands at 99%)and details about Apple's 700 million iPhones sold to date . Apple also announced a new member to the Macbook family - 12" Macbook  and gave plans to send iOS 8.2 to current Apple devices in anticipation of the Apple watch - which apparently works only with iOS devices running the above mentioned software version . Huawei may have been chosen to build "affordable" Nexus

According to new rumors , Huawei is said to be chosen by Google to build one of its next Nexus devices .The move , which is said to bring a affordable nexus (possibly to replace the Nexus 5) was first brushed off as a rumor , but now Kevin Yang - director of China Research (iSupply) confirmed that the news is indeed true and Google is working with the Chinese OEM to produce the nexus device . If the said Huawei Nexus is true , we expect the already affordable Nexus 5 to to hit retirement , last year , when Google announced the $600+ Nexus 6 , potential nexus buyers were turned off from buying one as the price couldn't be justified as the older generation was $349 . As a response , Google kept the Nexus 5 as a alternative in production ,but now the device is almost one and a half years old and LG will surely end production , and therefore a Huawei alternative will probably substitute the affordable nexus segment while a high end flagship from (possibly LG) will take over the t
