The display resolution remains the same .The Nokia X 2's software is said to be based on Android 4.3 jellybean which is outdated , but unlike Android 4.4 , the update still allows Apps to be installed to the SD card which is a huge bonus considering that this device will require apps to be installed from 3rd party

Kairos smartwatch hopes to bring moving parts and technology together

Kairos is not a household name when it comes to watches , but they are trying to turn that around by introducing a hybrid smartwatch that incorporates mechanical movements and a transparent Display which only turns on when a notification appears . smartwatches have always been a bit dull when it comes to designs , most of them are nothing more than small glass squares with some metal accents here and there , but Motorola did have a winner with their Moto 360 , but now it looks like they too can learn something from Kairos . The design is still at concept level - like the Moto 360 and the company expects you to wait until it is official , if it goes as planned ,company hopes to introduce 4 smartwatches with the basic model costing $499 and the top of the range model costing $1199 . Microsoft Surface Pro 3 preview

Microsoft at first hoped that their Surface tablets will woo in many customers who were in the market for high end tablets , but sadly the effort was in vain as large quantities of unsold Surface tablets are still piled up in warehouses , the biggest flaw in Microsoft's policy was the addition of the Windows RT system into the brand name Surface , this move not only confused the average Joe , but also brought in a bad reputation to Microsoft  which now faced a sitiation similar to one they faced during the launch of the Kin . The Surface "Pro" lineup fared better , but the RT failure confused many potential buyers of the Pro to turn away , making the Entire Surface lineup feel like a disaster .but Microsoft , in its policy of "never giving up" decided to give a second shot at the Surface lineup with the Surface 2 and Surface 2 RT , as usual , the RT model was completly ignored by the general public  , the Pro on the other hand was sold better , but their pric

Microsoft Surface mini won't be unveiled until differentiative features arrive

Is this the Nexus 8 ?

At first glance , the image was a little similar to the Nexus 10 of 2012 . The Nexus 10 , as you know, is much larger than the one shown in the picture in comparison to the hand that is seen above it ,The N10 also features a curvier design with speaker grilles placed in their own sockets while the leaked photo shows that the speakers are made similar to the HTC One X with machine drilled holes rather than a speaker socket. The image appeared on the new Google I/O 2014 event page which leads to some speculation that this is a leak of the Nexus 8 - which is said to be the replacement for the Nexus 10 and the Nexus 7 tablet lineup. The Nexus 8 is said to be made by HTC and will feature a 2560x1600 resolution IPS display , 2-3GB of RAM and a Snapdragon 801 SoC . The device has not leaked in previous occasions but as with Google's tradition of leaking devices before their official debut , this might actually be true . Xiaomi - a Chinese smartphone manufacturer has a good track record of copyright infringement and getting away with it . The MiPad is no exception and the design and color cues give us a rough idea of how the device manages to infringe on set design laws. The MiPad has a 7.9" IPS display with a resolution  of 2048x1536 , and incase if you were wondering , this tablet has a 4:3 aspect ratio . Apple iPhone 6 dummy meets iPhone 5S and iPod touch

With Android devices pushing beyond 5" in their smartphone display size consumers are slowly dodging tablets in favor of large screen "Phablets",So as phones get bigger, companies that rely on constancy like Apple have no option but to heed to customer demands by launching their own large screen smartphones breaking the 4" barrier for good . According to the latest rumors and mock-ups in the internet . the company is said to launch a 4.7" device that is said to be made in a unibody design similar to that of the iPad Air/Mini and iPod Touches . Archos Arcbook is a Android powered laptop for cheap

Always wanted a Android laptop on a budget ? Well Archos has a affordable answer to that with the Archos ArcBook , as Archos tradition , the Laptop is woefully under-powered when compared to rival Android/IOS/Windows tablets and Android/Chrome OS laptops like the Chromebook series and HP's Slatebook 14 series , but at$169.99 the Android 4.2 laptop is probably a better option to buy than most non branded Android  tablets out there . The ArcBook is powered by a 1.2Ghz RK3168 ARM A9 processor and it has 1GB RAM with 8GB ROM and it has expandable storage , the 10.1" display supports multitouch and has 1024x600 resolution and it has a 8000mAh Battery onboard . Overall the undercut price, the Laptop clamshell design , and a sort of upto date version of Android might make  this a better option to buy if you are in the market for a really crap budget Tablet/Tablet and Keyboard dock. Galaxy S3 and S3 mini will not get Android 4.4 update - Samsung

Samsung has decided to pull the plug on Android 4.4 Kitkat updates for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and the S3 Mini , the Galaxy S3 was Samsung's flagship device in 2012  and it came as two versions with one running on the Snapdragon S4 chipset and the international version running on the Exynos 4 Quadcore chipset . The Samsung Galaxy s3 mini was also available in two variants . Most of the Snapdragon versions of the S3 have been replaced by carrier contacts but they are said to receive Android 4.4 in the future ,sadly the international version (Galaxy S3 i9300) and the S3 mini will not receive Android 4.4 Kitkat due to its low ram (like most other OEM skins , 1GB is no longer enough for Samsung's Skin - Touchwiz) . The phone joins the HTC One X as the second major 2012 flagship phone to receive the obsolete status . “In order to facilitate an effective upgrade on the Google platform, various hardware performances such as the memory (RAM, ROM, etc.), multi-tasking capabilities, an

Sony Xperia Z2

Xperia Z2 was probably the first time Sony got things really right , the smartphone company started its change after the anouncement of the Xperia Z bringing a new omnibalence design pattern and a almost identical twin (Xperia ZL)that was slightly cheaper to buy mainly because of the lack of IP certification and posh-er materials like glass. After a year later, Sony has brought their new replacement for the Xperia ZL and it is called the "Xperia ZL2" . The ZL2 is only available for Japan , but we have a feeling that Sony will release it globally once they hit peak manufacturing .The ZL2 has a Snapdragon 801(8974AB) and 3GB RAM and has 16GB of internal storage with expansion . The display featured on the ZL2 is the same gorgeous IPS pannel of the z2 , and it has 441PPI thanks to its 1080p resolution .The camera on the ZL2 features the 4K capable 20.7MP Sony sensor with BIONZ imaging processor and sony's G-Lens optics The phone features Android 4.4 and it has th

Vivo XShot

The Vivo XShot is the latest flagship smartphone from Vivo , if you haven't heard about the company, panic not , because Vivo is a China-Specific OEM, so don't have any buyers remorse over a phone you just bought . The XShot , as the name suggests was rumored to pack a 24MP camera at first , but the phone actually features a Sony-made 13MP sensor with OIS and a f1.8 aperture  the camera has 4K video recording and a two tone LED flash , but interestingly , the  phone features a 8MP front camera with a single LED flash as well , so with selfies being the new duckface , the LED flash will surely help . Apart from the cameras , the XShot features a skinned version of Android 4.4 called Funtouch OS,The phone packs a 5.2" IPS LCD with 1080p resolution The phones power comes from a non removable 2600mAh non-removable battery , which makes us wonder what the battery consumption will be like because this phone packs a Snapdragon 801 processor ,3GB RAM,32GB ROM a dedicate
