Most companies have a habit of introducing scaled down versions of their flagship phones .
The "mini" versions as they are called are usually made using some of the design DNA from its
bigger brother and is sold for a cheaper price - The HTC One Mini 2 is no exception ,The One mini 2 replaces the Original One mini from last year ,and it sits right next to its bigger M8 brother .
The phone features a aluminium unibody design , and it has Boomsound front facing speakers up front .The mini 2 has a 720p resolution 4.5" display with the latest version of Sense 6 running on top of Android 4.4 processor wise , the phone packs a Quadcore Snapdragon 400 chipset clocked to 1.7Ghz and it has a Adreno 305GPU . The phone features 1GB ram 16GB onboard storage for apps and this can be expanded by another 128GB via MicroSd card slot
The phone features connectivity in the form of 4G LTE , NFC , Bluetooth 4.0 etc , and it supports GPS and Russia's GLONASS positioning systems. The phone ,like its bigger brother , features a 5MP front camera for selfies ,we also note that HTC has added a f2.2, 13MP sensor for the Mini 2 which is a strange and good departure from HTC's ultrapixel solution used for its
higher end models.The phone is said to have 16 hours of talk-time thanks to its 2100 mAh battery , The One Mini is said to cost a expensive $445 (470 Euros) which is quite a lot of money considering that the similar spec'd Motorola Moto G(LTE) , which comes in both
a normal version and a special -Ferrari edition that costs less .
