Samsung produces its home brew processors under the Exynos family , the latest version - Exynos 5433 technically falls into the Exynos 5 group , but because it is a 64bit processor , and that it is the beating heart of the Asia specific Note 4 , the company has gone about renaming the processor in order to give it more class and so now the Exynos 5433 is renamed as Exynos 7 Octa .
The Samsung Exynos 7 octa or previously known as the Exynos 5 (5433) Octa is a 4+4 core processor that uses the Arm Big-Little design architecture , the 4 main cores are designed after the A57 architecture and the 4 low power ones are 4 Cortex A53 cores , this new architecture helps the phone achieve 57% better throttle response and better overall performance than previous versions of the Exynos Octa .
