MWC 2015 - Sony Xperia M4 Aqua

Sony's Xperia M4 Aqua has been made official , the phone , which is the successor to the M2 Aqua
launched last year is Sony's Mid Range offering to the masses .The phone , as the Aqua name implies if water resistant like its bigger Xperia Z series cousins and it shares some design cues and parts with some models as well .The new M4 features a flapless design , which means the charging port is now treated with a water resistant coating which will surely make charging and data sync much easy . The smartphone comes in two storage variants , phones with the Model number E2303, E2353, E2312 are said to get 8GB internal storage and the other set - E2306, E2333, E2363 are said to feature 16GB onboard storage , both models feature SD card expansion and a healthy 2GB RAM .

Powering the phone is a Snapdragon 615 Soc , this 64bit processor uses 8 cores (4 Cortex A53 cores at 1.5Ghz and 4 Cortex A53 cores at 1.0 Ghz ) , this is a major step up from the Snapdragon 400 equipped phone from last year . The phone is also said to feature a new camera module , gone are the days when mid range sony's get the worst of the camera crop , the M4 is said to pack a 13MP Exmor RS camera module with f 2.0 aperture and ISO 3200 , the module also has LED flash and a secondary 88 degree wide angle selfie snapper at 5MP .The phone is said to come with Bluetooth 4.1 , NFC , GPS+Glonass and a 2400 mAh battery with improved battery performance thanks to Sony's new Lollipop based timescape ux .

Apple has announced their latest iteration of the iPad (entry level model) and the iPad Pro lineup with the new M2 processor.
