Huawei P8 unveiled

Huawei has unveiled their brand new Uber-flagship P8 smartphone , the P8 , along with its bigger brother - the P8 Max were unveiled at a special event held in London today . The Phone , like most smartphones today is said to be made to perfection and the metal chassis is estimated to take 810 minutes to craft .The display , which is said to feature ultra thin bezels offer a compact feel while providing a 5.2" 1080p display . The phone will feature a 13MP rear camera with Dual LED flash and Optical image stabilization , the camera also has a dedicated ISP (image signal processor) but it only manages to capture 1080p . The front selfie camera is said to be 8MP

Turning to the rest of the internals , we have once again the 2015 flagship smartphone ram capacity of 3GB . The phone comes in 16GB or 64GB of internal storage with the option to expand if you dont fancy using the second sim slot (The P8 features a dual sim facility , both are 4G capable , but the second one features a reversible feature that allows the second sim tray to be used as a MicroSD card slot ) . Powering the device is a octa-core 64-bit Kirin 930 SoC, with four (2GHz) Cortex-A53s paired with four (1.5GHz) Cortex-A53s in a big.LITTLE configuration. There's a Mali-T628 MP4 GPU . The phone has a 2680 mAh battery which will more than a day for regular users , but like all modern phones , this is a sealed unit . The phone ships with Huawei's Emotion UI and it ships with Android Lollipop 5.0 .The phone comes in two versions - 16 and 64GB and the color options for the 16 GB are said to be Titanium grey , Mystic Champagne , the 64GB version is said to be available in carbon black and prestige gold . The phones , although impressive are said to almost cost a arm or leg as the 16GB version is EUR499 without taxes and the 32GB version EUR 599 .
