Xiaomi Mi4i costs $200 off contract , packs Snapdragon 615 soc and 2GB of RAM

Xiaomi has announced a new handset called the Mi 4i in India today (available now for INR 12999), the phone , a cheaper variant of the flagship Mi4 will still hold its own ground as the phone packs some heavy power under the impressive shell while costing a absurdly low $200 off contract . The Mi4i ,which is Xiaomi's answer to the mid range competition from Motorola and Samsung packs a Snapdragon 615 Soc along with 2GB of RAM  - a feature that is always omitted in many devices in this category .The phone also packs 16GB of onboard storage and LTE support for two sims as the phone is dual sim compatible . The phone has a 5" 1080p display with a pixel density of 441ppi , this , along with Android 5.0 Lollipop means the phone will run smooth and crisp . The phone has a 13MP rear camera with a f 2.0 aperture and a 5MP front facing module ,both cameras record video at 1080p - which is a good feature as the phone is restricted to 16GB as the phone lacks a external microSD card slot . The phone is also said to feature a 3102 mAh battery which will surely last you a day of charge.
