LG G5 leak shows side mounted buttons , new design

LG's G5 is set to be one of the top dog smartphones for 2016 , the Android flagship is set to join the Android flagship bandwagon and is said to go head to head against the upcoming Samsung , Sony ,Apple Htc flagships this year .

Early leaks of the LG G5 showed us a dual camera set up with a fingerprint sensor below it , the dual camera set up - pioneered by LG Optimus 3D is set to re appear on the G5 as it will promote new camera features such as augmented reality as well as capturing depth and refocus after shots . Next on the leaked rumor list includes a pop out battery which is designed to slide out of the phones unibody chassis unlike other manufacturers who decided to seal it in..cough cough..we are looking at you Samsung , the slide out mechanism allows the rumored G5 to preserve its removeable battery bragging rights while keeping things practical enough (image leaked via Cnet Korea)

The most recent leak shows us a combination of the two previous leaks in one schematic , the alleged LG G5 , leaked in the picture above features the rumored horizontally placed camera module as well as the vertical fingerprint sensor placed just below it , gone are the days of a rear mounted volume control as the new model is said to feature a side mounted volume rocker instead .Overall the upcomomg G5 may borrow some design inspirations from rivals such as Apple and Samsung in order to create a unibody design that will depart the company's signature plastic phone build(with the exception of the recently launched Lg V10). The new LG G5 is said to measure 149.4 x 73.9 x 8.2mm.

The leaked specs for the device consist of a brand new Snapdragon 820 ,3-4GB of Ram ,a duo camera , or should we say cameras consist of a 20mp+8mpduo camera setup with duo led flash ,the LG g5 is also said to have a 8mp wide angle front camera as well .

LG expects to launch the LG G5 smartphone at MWC 2016 in Barcelona next month (February 21) .
