Sony Xperia XZ1 , XZ1 Compact and XA1 plus announced .

Sony has officially unveiled their new flagship for mid 2017 . The new XZ1 and the XZ1 compact  and the well spec'd Xperia XA1 Plus mid range models bring the latest enhancements from Sony and Android OREO (Android 8) out of the box .

Sony Xperia ZX1 & ZX1 compact

Design

The Sony Xperia ZX1 is Sony's flagship smartphone for 2017 . The new model , which replaces the Xperia Z1s , basically brings a few major upgrades over the predecessor internally . The new phone , which follows Sony's timeless design language since the Xperia Z might not be earth shattering , but the design is practical , and Sony has not skipped on any features this time around either . The only major change however can be seen at the back where the metal backplate now houses a horizontal bar which houses the LED flash and the laser rangefinder for Autofocus .The phone is made out of a metal unibody and has Gorilla Glass 5 up front . The phone is water and dust resistant (IP68)

The Xperia ZX1 Compact -  Sony's "pocket rocket" smartphone has returned once again . The compact line , which was a cult classic to many smartphone owners (as it featured flagship specs in a tiny body unlike "mini" smartphones from other companies) ,packs features and the same design aesthetics as the bigger ZX1. This means the Compact is basically the same phone as the ZX1 , with only changes done to its display  , front facing camera  resolution , the internal storage in order to achieve a smaller footprint . The ZX1 is made out of  a blend of CFRP - carbon fiber reinforced plastics in order to preserve rigidity and reduce weight The display is protected by a sheet of Gorilla glass 5 .  The same IP 68 dust and water resistance can be found here as well .

The Xperia XA1 Plus - Sony's latest big screen mid ranger for the XA line , although looks are not going to blow anyone away , the large display , a bigger battery , metal frame  and a fingerprint reader will surely put this as the head of the XA1 lineup .
