Photos of the upcoming Panasonic Lumix G9 leaks out

If you are a fan of Micro 4/3 cameras , then there is a good chance that you already know about the upcoming Lumix G9 - a photography oriented Lumix body sharing GH5 internals for a slightly cheaper price . We posted a few rumored details about this camera a few days back , and so far they have not changed much -( which is an indication that the leaked camera specs are final - with the exception of the camera body price , which we initially thought to be $2000-2400). The Lumix G9 , therefore will have the following specifications

- A 20MP MFT sensor with 5 axis IBIS compensating for 6.5 stops .
- Same AF system as the GH5 , but autofocus is greatly improved over the GH5
-20 fps shutter with full AF and 60fps (Electronic shutter) AF-L locked
-1/4000th shutter , built in image stacking feature for high resolution pictures
-20mp/60mp/80mp high resolution modes (stacking)
-3680k dot EVF with no blackout (0.83x magnification)
-Magnesium body with water , dust and freeze resistance (-10 degrees)
-Top LCD for quick adjustments
- Pricing somewhere in the range of $1700 Body only and $2400 with a kit lens

Panasonic is set to announce the Lumix G9 today (8th of November) 9 am GMT (London time)

Also rumored to launch along side the G9 is a new Leica DG-Panasonic 200mm f2.8 lens , pricing details are still sketchy but you are possibly looking at a $2000 lens here
