GoPro has announced their latest iteration of their GoPro action cameras - the new Hero 11 and a new successor to the Session lineup - the GoPro Hero 11 mini.
GoPro Hero 11 Black - This is basically the successor to last year's Hero 10 Black and like the Hero 10, it improves upon the new chassis design brought by the hero 10 and it features the collapsible action camera mount and color display. The camera sensor (1/1.9") resolution has been bumped up to 27MP and has a 8:7 aspect ratio (photos as well) with settings which allow it to shoot vertical - 9:16 videos for TikTok and 1:1 clips for instagram and the standard 16:9 resolution for everything else. The sensor is capable of shooting 10 bit 5.3K (60fps) and has auto stabilization including horizon lock as well as Hypersmooth 5.0 stabilization first introduced with the Hero 7. You also get many photo filters and fun effects such as lighting effects
Rest of the specs include the option of using a special Enduro high endurance battery and the chassis is capable of water resistance upto 10 m, GoPro mods and accessories designed for the Hero 10 are cross compatible with the current model. Pricing starts at $399 with a GoPro Subscription and and $499.99 without the subscription.
The Hero 11 Black Mini like the Hero 11 Black has the same sensor and camera specs but lacks the color displays both front and back but is not a barebones model like the Hero 10 Black bones and has a battery slot. Pricing starts at $299 with a subscription and Without a subscription you can pay $399.99 for it. the subscription costs $49.99 annually for cloud storage warranty.
