We’ve seen Huawei introduced several new devices at MWC 2013, but it seems the phone maker has forgotten to take the Ascend G710 to the big event. Thanks to the eagle eye of @evleaks, we have some information of the device’s innards, picture included.
The Huawei Ascend G710 is expected to ship with a 5-inch screen. While 1080p phones are all the rage now, that won’t be the case with the G710, as it’ll only boast a 720p display. Perhaps this is a good thing, as Huawei already has a 5-inch full HD phone in the flagship Ascend D2.
The leak also mentions that the Ascend G710 will pack a dual-core 1.5GHz processor and that it’ll work on both GSM and CDMA networks. We’re not sure if the latter implies that it’ll be a dual SIM phone.
Design-wise, the phone has a pretty swish-looking metal back cover, potentially putting it in similar territory to the Ascend D2.
