IFA 2015 -Alcatel OneTouch Pop Star and Pop Up

Although the  Idol series is making huge gains for the company,  Alcatel is still determined to keep their entry level segment up to date and this time they chose to launch their new products at IFA 2015 .Today , Alcatel anounced three new smartphones , a 17.3" Android tablet (Xess) and a new "smartwatch" called the OneTouch Go Watch  .a new Snapdragon 410 powered smartphone (Onetouch Go play) and two other handsets - the OneTouch Pop Star and Pop up .

Alcatel OneTouch Pop UP 

Although the name is a bit odd and cheap sounding  , the phone is pretty basic and it is designed to be a workhorse to anyone who wants a inexpensive handset .The Android lollipop powered smartphone packs a 64bit  1.4 Ghz Snapdragon 610 Soc ,2GB of RAM , 16GB of storage and a MicroSD expansion slot  .The phone features a 5" 720p IPS display and it features a 13MP rear camera awith a f2.0 aperture and a 5MP secondary camera  .The phone has a 2000 mAh battery and thanks to Alcatel's affordable pricing , this handset too will give many "budget" handsets a good run for its money (pricing and availability will be announced later )

Alcatel OneTouch Pop Star

The Alcatel One Touch Pop star   brings on budget specs for a budget price , designed to be the phone on the affordable end of Alcatels range , this phone packs a 5 -inch display with 720p HD , although its not bad , the resolution is good enough for a device of this caliber .Inside you’ve got a Mediatek MT6580 s quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM ,but you do get a Mediatek MT6735P Soc with 1 GB of RAM with 8GB of internal memory with the 4GB variant . If you’re working with the affordable 3G option, you also only get one SIM card slot, while the 4G version works with dual-SIM capabilities. There’s also a microSD card slot for up to 32GB cards, and the battery inside is kicked up to 2000 mAh capacity. This device also comes with a 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera . All  models work with Bluetooth 4.0, and GPS with A-GPS.
