Acer Liquid Zest , iconia tab 10 and Xplova X5 cyclist computer unveiled

Acer has launched a plethora of products this month , apart from the Acer predator 17X, G1 desktop and the surface pro killing Acer Switch Alpha hybrid , they have also launched a new Android devices and a computer for cyclists .

Acer Xplova X5 



This is a cycling computer designed for outdoor use , the IPX7 rating offers protection from the elements and the unit can record parameters such as speed , heart rate , elevation,cadence as well as current GPS location data . The unit also features a 720p wide angle lens for recording gopro style action clips but it can display all the above mentioned data in realtime as well . The data can be shared to a connected device which means that multiple Xplovas can send their status information to a instructor or guide in real time .The unit is said to be available in Q3 of this year.Price is yet to be revealed

Acer Liquid Zest 
Acer's new liquid zest smartphone looks like every other device before it but unlike its bretheren , it has a giant 5000 mAh battery . The phone has a 5.5" 720p display , 2GB of Ram and a Quadcore Mediatek Soc under the hood , 16GB of storage is available with a expansion slot for MicroSD .The phone has a 13MP camera with LED flash and it has a 5MP secondary in front .Pricing for this phone is said to be $260 unlocked .



Acer Iconia Tab 10 


Acer's new Iconia Tab is a Android 6.0 Marshmallow powered tablet with a 1080p 10" display with Mediatek MiraVision  image enhancement engine. The tablet features 2GB of Ram, 16GB of expandable storage  and a Mediatek Mt8163 64bit Quadcore  Soc clocked to 1.5Ghz  under the hood .the tablet features quad speakers and it has a 5mp rear camera and a 2mp front camera . The tablet is priced at $260
