Tamron recently updated their 70-200mm f2.8 lens with a second gen (G2) . The lens , which is said to be an excellent bokeh-monster is now said to get another trinity lens member in the form of a 24-70mm f2.8 which would replace the previous generation 24-70 model from 2012 . The new model which would carry the G2 badge and a more subtle velvet black finish would also be optically superior in order to meet the new sensor needs of modern DSLR and mirrorless camera systems .
