LG is said to be working on a slower and cheaper version of the LG G5 for developing markets . The LG G5 SE , as its known , will be aimed at countries in South America , China , Russia and the rest of the CIS . The phone , based on the traditional LG G5 will Pack a slower Snapdragon 652 soc instead of the Snapdragon 820 in the flagship model . The rest of the specs are similar to the standard LG G5 and it will pack the same camera and battery capcity  , the phone will also pack the plastic metal unibody but it will lack some of the features such as support for LG's VR headset , and some of the "friends" add -ons Source - GSMArena .
