Panasonic GH5 II Announced

Panasonic has announced their new GH5 hardware update - the GH5 II (Mk2). The camera, though technically not a successor to the GH5, is set to offer a lower price of entry to the Lumix four thirds environment and sits between the upcoming GH6 and the entry level G series in the Lumix Video-centric camera lineup. The specs of the new GH5 II were  leaked a few days back  and they remain true in the production model as well.The camera is said to be available in a body only price of  $1699 or $2299 with the Kit 12-60 f2.8-4 lens. Panasonic Lumix GX9 is official

Panasonic has officially announced their latest M4 / 3 mirrorless camera – the Lumix GX9 , this camera , designed with compact mirrorless shooters in mind , is somewhat related to the Panasonic GH / G lineup as it shares a similar 20MP Micro 4 / 3 sensor with no low pass filter . The camera ,unlike its predecessor – the GX8 , is now capable of delivering reduced shutter shock ( 90 % reduction from its predecessor ) and this is achieved  thanks to a new electromagnetic drive system . The camera , in some regards is still capable of 4K 24 / 30p like the previous model , and this , combined with the IBIS allows 5 axis stabilization for video and photo . Panasonic Lumix ZS200

Panasonic has unveiled their official successor to the ZS100 . The new Panasonic ZS200 , armed with a 1" CMOS sensor and a Leica Vario-Elmar F3.3-6.4 24-360mm equivalent lens  with a 15x zoom  and 5 axis image stabilization. The ZS200 , which is capable of 4K recording in 30 or 24fps is also capable of recording 1080p in 120fps as well . The camera , which has a maximum ISO range unto 25600 and a hybrid AF system with 10fps when AF is locked . The camera is also capable of 4K photo (8mp still) from a burst . The camera also has a 0.21" OLED viewfinder and this is paired with a touch capable 3" 1240Dot LCD giving sharp touch AF and control over the camera menu . This , combined with the in camera RAW processing for the 20.1mp stills shot from the camera , makes this an ideal option for those who want to pack light and still have great image quality . Pricing for the Panasonic Lumix LS200 is $800 ,almost in the same ball park as Sony's RX100 series of cameras . ...

Panasonic GH5s - Panasonic's new Low light monster

via - Panasonic CES 2018 press kit Panasonic is basically on a roll with their Lumix Mirrorless cameras . The newly Announced G9 - a photo centric version of the highly praised GH5 pushed the envelope for Micro 4/3 by bringing both a highly capable photo and video option to go toe to toe with it’s larger sensor peers , but apparently Panasonic is still not done with the GH5 chassis yet , so after a few leaks and some blurred photographs , the GH5s - Panasonic’s low light video centric camera is finally official . The GH5s at first glance looks just like its standard (GH5) brother , the chassis has a few minor tweaks including the red ring (from the G9) and the Red letter S plus a large red record button indicating that this is for solely for “video work” . LEICA DG ELMARIT 200mm / F2.8 / POWER O.I.S

Apart from Panasonic's Lumix G9 announcement , the company also announced the LEICA DG ELMARIT 200mm / F2.8 / POWER O.I.S .- A leica branded Panasonic lens which ,when connected to a micro 4/3s body gives a field of view of 400mm (35mm equivalent) . The lens , which is said to feature excellent corner sharpness and OIS - optical image stabilization is perfect for wildlife and sports shooters as it also supports a teleconverter option DMW-TC14 which multiplies the 400mm by 1.4x giving a 560mm (35mm equivalence ) or the DMW-TC20 which gives a 800mm equivalence . Featuring 15 elements in 13 groups and two UED - extra low dispersion elements and a silent triple linear motor for precise AF action .The lens features a metal body and is dust ,water and freeze resistant (-10 degrees C) . Panasonic Lumix G9 is official

Related - LEICA DG ELMARIT 200mm / F2.8 / POWER O.I.S Panasonic has officially announced their  much rumored Lumix G9 camera . The G9 ,  a successor to the Lumix G series , departs from Panasonic's Video priority Micro four thirds systems and thus is their first Professional grade system designed with  Photography work in mind  . The system , based on the GH5  and related to the closely matched Olympus EM1 MkII , is designed for landscape and sport shooters who may benefit from the Micro 4/3 sensor as it allows a 2x reach on full frame lenses and still compensate for camera shake thanks to IBIS (In built image stability) on the sensor . Photos of the upcoming Panasonic Lumix G9 leaks out

If you are a fan of Micro 4/3 cameras , then there is a good chance that you already know about the upcoming Lumix G9 - a photography oriented Lumix body sharing GH5 internals for a slightly cheaper price . We posted a few rumored details about this camera a few days back , and so far they have not changed much -( which is an indication that the leaked camera specs are final - with the exception of the camera body price , which we initially thought to be $2000-2400). Panasonic's new Lumix DMC-CM1 has looks of a camera , specs of a smartphone

Camera ? Phone?  ..why not both ....well , take a look at this new Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM1. At first glance , it looks a lot like a touch -screen compact camera that your sister uses ,but the camera/phone has specs that can easily challenge all other flagships thanks to its Snapdragon 801 processor and its 20 megapixel f/2.8 Leica DC Elmarit lens .The camera's rear panel looks a bit like a traditional Leica camera , but the Android 4.4 os makes the camera phone a direct rival to other Android cameras out there .Pricing for this Panasonic is not verified , but we are sure that its not going to be cheap .
