Samsung announces Snapdragon S652 powered Tab S2 models

Samsung has refreshed their flagship Tab S2 models with a new processor upgrade . The new tablets - identical to last year's Tab S2 9.7 and 8.0 models still pack a 2048x1536 SAMOLED display and they have the same 8mp cameras from last year . The new tablets pack a Snapdragon 652 processor - a 6 core chip containing a duo Cortex A72 layout with a 4 core A53 cluster is said to replace the Exynos 7 processor in the previous model . The ram amount is said to remain the same at 3GB and it will still come with LTE options as well . Pricing and avilability will be available later on . Source - GSMArena

Samsung Announces Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and 9.7

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Tab S2 ,the S2 , a product line that features a 8.0 version and a slightly larger 9.7" one which replaces the older Tab S 8.4 and Tab S 10.5 from last year with a all new form factor and new hardware inside .Although both products were announced today , the official launch of the tablet is due next month and so far the prices are said to remain very similar to the original Tab S lineup from last year Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 This is Samsung's Tab S 8.4 replacement for this year , unlike the previous 16:9/16:10 widescreen aspect ratios ,the new model features a portrait friendly 8" 4:3 aspect ratio ,this shift in aspect ratio does take some of the SuperAmoled displays high resolution off as the new model only has 2048x1536 px - a figure that gives it a lower PPI count than the outgoing model which had 2560x1600 . Samsung's Galaxy A3 and Tab S 8.4 WIFI gets Android lollipop

The painful wait for Android 5.0.2 is over for Smsung Galaxy A3 owners as the company has now started seeding the much needed software update to the little handset .The phone , a offshoot of the Galaxy Alpha line is the entry level model in the A series followed by the similarly spec'ed Galaxy A5 and A7 who are also said to receive the update shortly . The update - Android 5.0.2  currently rolls out  in Russia at the moment will slip down to other regions in the time being . Samsung has also added the Tab S 8.4 Wifi to the Lollipop 5.0.2 update list , the tablet , announced in 2014 was one of the best small Android tablets at the time as the 8.4" was a Super AMOLED one which produced vivid colors previously unseen in the modern tablet market .The Android update is currently seeding on the WIFI model , but the LTE and other variants will get it shortly . Samsung Galaxy Tab S - 10.5

People usually lost count of how many Samsung Galaxy tablets actually existed , the lineup expanded every year with the term Tab being added to fixed display sizes of 7" and above , the tab lineup was  not a worthy competitor to the ipad because of its inferior specifications , but Samsung started to give Apple a run for its money by launching the TabPro lineup , which are fully equipped with the latest specs and a premium prices . However , the tabPro lineup's success may be short lived because Samsung has launched the Tab S lineup to replace the TabPro tablets. The new Amoled displays , and Samsung's own Exynos chipsets and fingerprint sensors make these tablets outshine the competition , and it also makes Samsung's premium offerings worth the extra money. First off , we have the Tab S 8.4 , this is basically a beefed up version of the TabPro 8.4 . The tablets design is quite similar to the TabPro , but it features a more streamlined faux metal rim around the edges with the 3.5mm headphone jack pushed to the rear end of the device , the right hand side contains the IR Blaster , a SD card slot , and a Sim Slot if you preorder the LTE version . The tablet's back has been given a new dimpled look which is similar to the one on the Galaxy S5 smartphone , the 8mp camera and the LED flash have been shifted to the middle , and they no longer have that metal insert around them.The front button now has a fingerprint sensor which is similar to the one found on the Galaxy S5.
