Nvidia has announced a new tablet with a focus on becoming more of a gaming console rather than  a standalone tablet .The tablet , named as JDX S192 is known as "Retro" and this is probably due to the fact that the internals are almost the same as the Nvidia K1 tablet .The retro tablet , armed with 2GB of RAM and a Quadcore  K1 Soc is somewhat old school in this day and age but the fact that it runs Android 4.2.2 Jellybean means that the device lives up to its Retro name indeed .The tablet features a 7" 1920x1080p IPS display , 32GB of storage and a massive 10,000 mAh battery along with a 13mp main snapper at the back .The tablet is said to go on sale starting May 6th for GBP 220 ($316). Today news of the console has come back in the form of a acknowledgement by Nvidia employee ManuelG . The console - which originally cost $199 will have a 500GB option for a $100 more and it is expected to go live this month (end of the month more like it) along with the Andorid 5.1 update for the Shield tablet . “It’s the most advanced GPU the world has ever seen,” Jen-Hsun said, as he presented Tim with the company’s very first production unit. Nvidia has pulled the covers off its new Titan X GPU. The 8 billion transistor graphics card is built around Maxwell architecture and it also has 12 GB of Framebuffer (RAM) which took Nvidia engineers many man- hours years to develop . Further details about the card (pricing , more specs , GPU core count ) are still kept a secret , but we will post them as soon as they are available Written By Rakitha for MasHD Source - Blog.Nvidia

Nvidia is really stepping up its game in the mobile market , after launching the original Shield portable ,and  the successful Shield Tablet , Nvidia is now focusing on the console segment with their new Nvidia Shield - console . The set top box - which is said to pack Nvidia's latest and greatest mobile chipset - The Tegra X1 is said to run Android TV - a special version of Android made specifically for consoles .but unlike the Nexus player , the Shield console will focus on cloud gaming . The Nvidia GRID - which is Nvidia's cloud based gaming system which requires a 10Mbit connection , games are processed off remote servers so all the set top box has to do is run it in full glory - which is quite possible as the new X1 and its Maxwell GPU is pretty much the best mobile chip you can get -at the moment . and if you are not into heavy cloud gaming , you can always play standard Android games as well . The Shield console box is also said to "play Crysis" - in th...

Nvidia has alwaysbeen first in launching benchmark setting mobile processors for a long time ,and with another year over ,Nvidia has once again claimed the benchmark title to itself with the new Tegra X1 Syetem on a chip . This new Tegra chip is said to be the first "Octa-core" tegra processor from the company and according to preliminary benchmarks , the chip is also the first mobile processor to reach one Teraflop of floating point performance (which is close to most high end consoles like the Xbox One) - this number has been achieved thanks to 256 Maxwell GPU cores which is the same GPU architecture found in the new GTX980 series of graphics cards in high end gaming pc's .To put it into perspective  , the first supercomputer to break the teraflop barrier in 2000 (ASCI Red) needed 76 Pentuim Pro processors and a million watts to power it .Raw CPU power to the chip is provided by 8 64 bit cores comprising of 4+4 islands with 4 Cortex A57 cores with 2MB of L2 cache a...

Nvidia shield Tablet is probably one of the best gaming oriented tablets this year , the Nvidia K1 powered beast is pretty much Nvidia's show-slate to promote the Tegra series of processors to the mass market with graphical prowess that matches some big named consoles in the past . The tablet , which cost $299 for the 16GB model wifi was selling quite well but as with most things Tegra , users started to question software support for the tablet but so far Nvidia hasn't turned them down . Android Lollipop (5.0) was unveiled yesterday alongside the launch of 3 new Nexus devices that are essentially the first devices to carry the new operating system ,although users  like to get their hands on the latest version of Android , they are usually delayed or as in tradition - left out , This usually happens mainly due to the heavy skinning of Android by OEM's who lay a tonne of UI over the otherwise lag free stock Android , and this , combined with the rapid progress of technology means that older devices and budget models get the boot pretty easily ,but there are exceptions , and just after the announcement of Android 5.0 , Motorola announced their list of Android 5.0 compatible devices and it basically includes a few devices that will probably put shame to other OEMS who refuse to update their devices Motorola's List of Android 5.0 compatible devices Motorola Moto E Motorola Moto G 2013 /2014 all versions Motorola Moto X 2013/2014 Motorola Droid Mini Motorola ...

The Nvidia Shield tablet is finally official , the tablet , which was leaked a few days prior to the official launch was almost 100% accurate in giving out the exact specs so the launch is a bit "meh" ,however it it , the Nvidia Shield tablet is nothing short in being awesome , the sound of having a Kepler GPU and a low price will surely make this another thing to have , if you are after a tablet which has the properties of the Shield console . The tablet at first looks a bit like a stretched out HTC One , this look mainly comes from the front facing speakers which are surely a plus if you want some quality audio that is not muffled when you place it on a table . The tablet features a DirectStylus 2  "pen" for graphic applications such as Nvidia Dabbler - a pre installed software for drawing using watercolor effects and the usual Android apps like Photoshop touch and et al .Even with the tuck in stylus silo on the rear , the tablet measures at a good 9.2mm...

Nvidia launched their Tegra Note reference tablet last year , the tablet featured a stylus , front facing speakers , front and rear cameras and of course , Nvidia's flagship Tegra 4 processor , the tablet was sold at a bargain price of $199 and it was adopted as a reference design by HP,Evga ,Micromax and many other smaller OEM's who wanted a off the shelf product , to which they can add their name to . The tablet however didn't sell that many units , but Nvidia hopes that the introduction of their processors in Tablets will make the chipset popular among tablet manufacturers as they are the only capable mobile CPU maker that can take on the expansion of Qualcomm . Nvidia promotes their chipsets as being  "gaming oriented" and this can be attributed to the fact that Nvidia uses its own CUDA and Kepler mobile GPU's in their mobile devices . With the Tegra 4 ending its life cycle , the flagship baton is passed down to the Nvidia K1 , which at the moment ...

Made with a unapolegitically plastic design , The MiPad is Xiaomi's latest -near clone of Apple's iPhone 5C and iPad Mini . Xiaomi - a Chinese smartphone manufacturer has a good track record of copyright infringement and getting away with it . The MiPad is no exception and the design and color cues give us a rough idea of how the device manages to infringe on set design laws. The MiPad has a 7.9" IPS display with a resolution  of 2048x1536 , and incase if you were wondering , this tablet has a 4:3 aspect ratio . Unlike the design, the internals in the tablet are quite good , The MiPad is powered by a 2.2Ghz "Pentacore- 4+1 core" Nvidia Tegra K1 processor . The processor is coupled with Kepler GPU and it has a good 2GB of RAM , 16 or 64GB of internal storage with a SD card slot that supports upto 128GB and connectivity options that include WIFI ,Bluetooth 4.0 which run on top of Xiaom's Android Skin which hints iOS 7 .
