LG G3 burns through mattress , battery burnt beyond recognition

LG's G3 was probably one of the best smartphones of 2014 . The phone packed decent specs , a beautiful ui and a large battery which in this case burnt a large hole through a mattress while the phone was charging . The device , used by a Reddit OP's sister apparently burst into flames causing its owner to run down in terror , members of the household managed to put out the fire with a extinguisher (which is the proper way to deal with Lithium based fires fyi) and still the heat managed to melt through the mattress which then had to be thrown out of the window .The phone - as shown in these pictures shows a charcoal-ed battery and a G3 which has gone kaput from the rear panel .The family has started to circulate news of the issue through social media in order to get help from LG or other parties that can help them with the matter . According to OP's Reddit post , the phone's battery wasn't replaced with a 3rd party unit and the phone wasn't covered by a pillow a...

LG G3 Stylus

It's a case of Horse before cart with the new LG G3 stylus as the phone is made official before LG's IFA event scheduled for next month .The phone , which borrows aesthetics from the LG G3 and some stylus features from the long gone Optimus VU is probably the Korean tech giant's latest "note" rival . The phone , which comes with a Rubberduim stylus and a 5.5" 960x540 resolution display is yards away from beating the 2K resolution display of the G3 , but that might reflect in price as the whole device more budget oriented rather than being a flagship . The phone comes with a Quadcore processor of 1.3Ghz (unnamed , but it's most probably a Snapdragon 400 chip a-la G3 mini) 13 mp rear camera ,1.3mp front facing camera and it comes with a MicroSD card slot that will run as extra storage for the 8Gb available on-board .The phone comes with a 3000mAh battery so battery buffs will surely rejoice as the phone's low end hardware will surely do its magic on th...

LG G3A goes light in South Korea

LG's G3 is one of the best flagship phones to date , the specs and its innovative features and the thin bezel design makes it a ideal phone for anyone with the right amount of money , but not everyone can spend $700 on a phone , so LG has introduced a skinned version of the phone called LG G3 A , the phone , basically looks like a G3 at first look , the specs however are somewhat last year , so its basically a G2 in a g3 shell , first off , we have a Snapdragon 800 chipset clocked to 2.26Ghz and 2GB of RAM , the 32GB version has a MicroSD card and it has support for LTE as well .The camera has the same laser auto-focus module as the G3 and it has Optical stabilization , the camera has 13Mp and LED flash . The display of the phone comes in at 5.2" and has a 1080p resolution rather than the beastly 2K found on the G3 , this reduction might help conserve the battery life as the phone only has a  battery which comes in at 2610 mAh's is a bit of a concern but it is removable ...

LG's G3 Beat has design cues from its bigger brother, mid range specs on tow

With everyone and their mother making "mini" handsets , excluding LG from that list would be a shame because their new LG G3 is surely the best Android smartphone you can buy*(at the moment) .Sticking to the "law of mini-phones"  LG has cut down many features except for the gorgeous design and the clever Laser autofocus module . Rest of the specs are quite mid range in the day and age , but that being said , the LG Beat is no slouch ,the display comes in at 5" and it is a IPS pannel that is set to a screen to body size ratio of 74.1 % which is impressive (and makes no sense to the average buyer) the display by the way has a resolution of 1280x720 which gives a kind of alright 294ppi . Inside the phone , we find a 1.2Ghz Quadcore Snapdragon 400 , which is made using the Cortex A7 architecture , the phone has a Adreno 305 graphics module ,1GB of RAM , 8GB of onboard storage and a MicroSD card slot . GPS and Glonass ,Bluetooth 4.0 ,NFC ,WIFI 802.11 b/g/n ,...
