Samsung to launch Galaxy Note 4 at IFA 2014

Samsung has been making it a habit to launch their Note series of devices at IFA in Berlin , The German radio /telecommunications show has been the center stage for Samsung's previous Note II and Note III handsets as well as the Note tablet . This year , Samsung is set to launch their Galaxy Note 4 smartphone at a special "Unpacked" event on the 3rd of September , which will unveil the exact specs of Samsung's second flagship device .The main event in Berlin will be flanked by two simultaneous events in Beijing and NewYork which is similar to what they did last year . The Note 4 smartphone/phablet is said to pack some beastly specs in the form of a 5.7" 2k resolution AMOLED display , 3-4GB of RAM , A Snapdragon 805 / Exynos 5 octa processor (Snapdragon version for the 4G variant) and a 16mp ISOCELL camera derived from The Samsung Galaxy S5 , which was launched earlier this year. Samsung has managed to sell 30 million units of the Galaxy Note 2

The Samsung Galaxy Note phablets are some of the best-selling smart devices around – the original Note has around 10 million sales to date, while the outgoing Note II has reached 30 million. There numbers come from general manager of Samsung Taiwan's mobile communication team Andy Tu. This sounds about right as JK Shin himself (Samsung Mobile's chief) said that the Galaxy Note line has sold over 38 million a couple of weeks ago. The Galaxy Note II has come a long way since it sold 3 million units a month after launch and reached 5 million units sold another month later. The pace is accelerating, however, as the original Note took until March 2012 to hit the 2 million mark and it launched in October 2011. This doesn’t necessarily mean that the new Galaxy Note 3 will see a similar jump in sales but we're waiting for the quarterly report from Samsung to see if the phablet will be mentioned alongside the Galaxy S4 as one of the hottest sellers (the S4 passed 20 million a...
