CES 2015 - Random phones and gadgets from CES #1 - Blu phones

BLU has unveiled several phones At CES 2015 , the new Blu Vivo Air , Blu Studio Energy and Blu Life One and One XL , Blu Studio X and Studio X Plus Blu studio G are basically re-badged Chinese phones from either Gionee or some other company . BLU Studio 5.5

BLU has announced its Studio 5.5 affordable smartphone, which offers a large screen and a quad-core CPU at a very attractive price point. It's built around a 5.5" TFT display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, which makes for a pixel density of 178ppi. Under the hood, the BLU Studio 5.5 packs a 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU and a PowerVR SGX544 GPU on the MediaTek MTM6589 platform. There's 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which is expandable via the microSD card slot. At the back, there's a 5MP shooter with an LED flash and 1080p video recording, while at the front sits a VGA camera. Popping the battery cover reveals two SIM card slots as well as the 2,250mAh Li-Ion battery, which BLU says is good for up to 300 hours of standby or 4 hours of 3G talk time. The Blu Studio 5.5 measures 157 x 79.5 x 9.5mm and weighs 184 grams. It runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, but BLU hasn't detailed its plans for future updates at this point. Available win a number...

Blu introduces 3 phones to its "Life" series

Blu Products may not be a company you’re familiar with, but it has announced three new smartphones that all run the Android operating system. The new smartphones all fall into the Blu Life series and promise premium build quality with flagship performance. The three smartphones share a lot of the same hardware in common. The devices used the MediaTek MT6589 1.2 GHz quad-core chipset featuring a ARM Cortex A7 subsystem. The phones also use a PowerVR Series 5XT GPU and support fast HSPA+ data connectivity offering 4G speeds within the United States. All three the phones run Android 4.2 and have dual-SIM capability. The phones also support dual-active functionality allowing users to make and receive calls on both SIM cards at one time. The phones also all use new IPS HD displays promising wide viewing angles and lots of contrast. The Life One is made using a solid aluminum body and has a five-inch HD resolution display covered in Gorilla Glass 2. It also features a 13-megapixel camera...
