Well look what we have here. The image below is believed to be leaked from NTT DoCoMo showing the Japanese specifications of the Sony Xperia Z1 (SO-01F) as well as a new handset the Sony Xperia Z1 f (SO-02F). The latter is believed to be the ‘Honami mini’ that has been rumoured heavily since the Xperia Z1 was announced. Yes, this brochure leak may be fake, but it fits with previous NTT DoCoMo documentation we have seen. If there are any Japanese readers out there, please have a look below and let us know if anything suggests this could be fake. The specs of the Xperia Z1 f are listed against the Xperia Z1 and there is even a small image of the phone that shows it will come in black, white, pink and yellow. Now, the high-res versions of the official press renders of the Xperia Z1 have been leaked ahead of its announcement at IFA, Berlin. Android users in the UK are set for a treat this fall. An anonymous tipster, who claims to work for UK carrier Three UK, has passed along a screenshot regarding device release dates. The picture, believed to be internal documentation from Three, shows the release dates for two highly anticipated devices: the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z1. The Note 3 is arriving on Three September 16th, while the Z1 (Honami) is set to arrive on September 24th, according to the document. Both devices show the announcement date of September 4 at IFA, hinting that employees should not be discussing the news with customers or, you know, sending screenshots to Engadget. The Sony Xperia Z1, erstwhile known as 'Honami', has leaked once again, this time through a press image. This latest image shows the device in three colors: black, white and purple. The colors are identical to the ones the Xperia Z is sold in and the device itself looks remarkably similar. One major difference between the exterior of the Z and the Z1, however, is the metal frame that runs around the device. It's unclear whether the metal acts are merely the frame for the device or also doubles up as the antenna as on the iPhone. The Xperia Z1 is Sony's upcoming flagship Android smartphone that has been rumored for quite some time now.
