LG has refreshed its 10" G Pad tablet lineup with the second gen G Pad 2 10.1 , the tablet  has a more powerful Snapdragon 800 Soc + 2GB of RAM will literally run circles around the previous version which has a sluggish Snapdragon 400 Soc + 1GB of RAM . The display on the tablet is still kept at the 16:10 ratio with a resolution bump to 1920x1080p which is a increase over the 720p pannel used earlier , storage options still remain the same with a MicroSD card slot +16GB of onboard storage . Google Play devices wern't successful as Google hoped them to be . The traditional handsets without custom interfaces were sold at original cost and the prices rarely dropped , and though it was technically a Nexus , the update schedule fell into the hands of the equipment manufacturer .The Google play edition phones however are still available , but some old models have been replaced as of today . The Sony Xperia ZU ,HTC One M7 and LG's GPad 8.3 are axed from Google's store while the 2013 Motorola Moto G google play edition is still kept alive . The Samsung Galaxy S4 Google play edition will be replaced by the S5 Google play edition once it arrives . When it comes to tablets , LG has made quite a impression with the G-Pad but now , LG has stepped up the heat by unveiling 3 colorful tablets to compete against its brother - Samsung  . The LG GPad 7.0 is the entry level tablet out of the bunch , next up , we have the LG Gpad 8.0 and GPad 10.1 which are said to have software features like the Knock code (tap to wake) and LG's smartphone notifications sync. LG's new entry into the mid-sized tablet market, the G Pad 8.3, will come to the manufacturer's home country of Korea starting on October 14th. Taking to its blog, LG notes that the tablet will go on sale directly online as well as in malls and other shops in the country. But the sales won't stop there — just as it promised when the tablet was announced, LG plans to have the G Pad 8.3 on sale in 30 countries by year's end. With a Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 1920 x 1200 8.3-inch display and several interesting software features that match up with LG's recent phones, the G Pad 8.3 is likely to be a solid proposition for many. The LG G Pad 8.3, announced just before IFA 2013, but on display at LG’s booth in Berlin, will wear a price tag of $299, according to a recent report from China. Considering everything LG packed inside its relatively thin slate, this will be a rather attractive price for many out there looking for a fast Android tablet. As we mentioned in our hands-on video, the slate represents LG’s comeback in the tablet game.
