Xiaomi makes cloud messaging optional after privacy issues were detected

Xiaomi has recently enjoyed a lot of enthusiasm in the global market , the Chinese manufacturer , which is now the 5th largest OEM in the world , is responsible for best sellers like the Mi3 and the Redmi Note , which made up most of Xiaomi's foreign sales , but now , it turns out that Xiaomi's MIUI interface , which runs on -top of Android is making some users feel uneasy after it introduced a cloud texting service , which is similar to Apple's iCloud . The service comes as default and now it is basically making many people feel worried after the service is known to have privacy issues where details about the phones IMEI , contacts , messages , phone numbers and other data are stored in a Server in China . Xiaomi Redmi Note will be available in international markets starting at $129

As expected , the Xiaomi Redmi Note smartphone is official . The phone , or shall we say phablet , is quite a decent device for a small price .The Redmi will come in two variants , with the cheaper one packing a Octa-Core 1.4 Ghz chipset and 1GB Ram and the higher end version packing a 1.7 Ghz Octa-Core chipset with 2GB of RAM.The 1.4 Ghz and the 1.7GHz chipsets are of the Metdiatek MTK6592 Octa-Core variant , so nothing to complain much here . Both phones will pack a 5.5" IPS diaplay of the 720p variant and they will have Xiaomi's own MIUI interface with Android . The phone will have a 13MP rear camera with flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies . Both models will also pack a 3200 mAh battery which will surely put a smile on all battery-life fans . Xiaomi tests their new Tablet specific MIUI Rom on a Nexus 7

Xiaomi is a Chinsese phone manufacturer that sells top notch hardware for rock bottom prices the company experienced massive growth over last year and this year , with the help of the ex- Google Android VP Hugo Barra , the company has now set its eyes on the tablet market with a new Xiaomi MIUI ROM for Android . Currently Xiaomi doesn't have a a tablet of their own , but for now , they are testing their MIUI rom on a 2013 Nexus 7 , and as far as the pictures say , the MIUI Tablet interface looks really good but hopefully we might be able to see it in action on a Xiaomi built tablet of their own . Vice president of Android - Hugo Barra leaves for Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi

In a surprising twist of events, Vice President of Android - Hugo Barra - has decided to move on from Google and join Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi. The news was first broken by AllThingsD and was later confirmed by Barra in a post on Google+. He would be joining Xiaomi Global in China as their Vice President and "help them expand their incredible product portfolio and business globally". Barra joined Google back in 2008 and for the past few years has been the face of Android, appearing in all recent Google keynotes for product announcements. While leaving, Barra praised the Android team, calling them "the most amazing group of people I've ever worked with in my life" and especially calling out Andy Rubin (who left the Android team recently), Hiroshi Lockheimer, Sundar Pichai and Vic Gundotra. Google is yet to announce who will be taking on the role of Barra in his absence.
