This 4K recording app will cost a thousand bucks

Most apps usually cost cents or a few dollars to purchase , but the new WizzyWiz 4K app takes app pricing to a whole new level because it costs a mindblowing $999 . The app , as its name explains - is a 4K video recording app for the iPhone 5S . The app allows its (no idea on what to call them) users the ability to shoot 4K at 24 fps or take 24 burst photos at 4K resolution and stitch them for a high resolution photo that will come to about 72MB . The app however has certain restrictions as it requires the phone to be of the 32GB  or 64GB variant and run iOS7 instead of the upcoming iOS8 update due to issues with the camera interface . The app at first glance has a tonne of cool features , but for that kind of money , eager photo buffs can buy a semi-Pro DSLR  , or a 4K capable smartphone without buying something that is virtually intangible . if you really want to buy - iTunes Written by Rakitha for MasHD Source - SlashGear

Apple adds camera , pop out loop to 16GB 5th Gen iPod Touch , price reduced to $199

The iPod touch is still considered to be the best PMP (portable media player) round , although the user base has diminished over the years , the device is still preferred by parents who want to give their child a fun all round device without cellular connectivity .when Apple launched the 5th gen iPod touch at $299 , many buyers felt upset over the fact that there was no entry model for a affordable price  , so Apple introduced a cut down version without the camera , and lanyard loop attachment for $230 but this was still a tough sell . After realizing the mistake , Apple has finally removed the cut down version in favor of a 16GB version with a camera and lanyard loop ,the new 16GB iPod touch comes in the same pallet of colors as the earlier 32 and 64 gb versions and comes with a product red version as well . The entry level (16GB) iPod touch has dropped to $199 with the 32GB version costing $249 and $299 for the 64GB version . The only catch with the 16GB model is that the lanyar...

Apple Re-Launches iPhone 4 for the Indian market , high prices on tow

Yes, you read that correctly. Apple is relaunching its popular iPhone 4 in the Indian market. The phone was all the rage back in 2010 but is now barely running iOS 7 on a single-core 1 GHz processor, 512 MB of RAM and lowly 8 gigs of storage. Then there's the pricing - instead of going for something reasonable Apple has priced the iPhone 4 at Rs 22,900, the equivalent of around $370. That's for an 8GB version, mind you. It seems that the pricey iPhone 5s and uninspiring iPhone 5c aren't doing it for Apple in India where users aren't thrilled by the company removing the iPhone 5. The iPhone 4S looks a more reasonable smartphone at that price, even though it's over two-years old itself. So what do you think - a blatant slap in the face of Indian buyers, an entirely cash-motivated move by the company or the cheapest way to get an iOS 7 smartphone? GSMArena

Apple to re-launch iPhone 4 for the Indian market

If you’re a fan of older iPhones we might have some good news for you. There’s a rumor going around that Apple might do the unthinkable and re-launch the iPhone 4 (8GB) in the Indian market. The story comes via the Economic Times of India, which cites unnamed industry sources. Apple is supposedly choosing this strategy to counteract the drop in marketshare it has seen in the country. The recent launch of the iPhone 5S and 5C has done very little for Apple as the company has effectively priced itself out of the market even with the supposed cheaper version of the iPhone 5C. A relaunch of the iPhone 4 would give Apple a somewhat strong contender in the middle to low-end segment of the market, being priced somewhere around the $250 price point. Of course Apple stopped producing the iPhone 4 quite a while ago, so any new devices would be unsold stock from around the world being brought into India. If true, the devices might start to hit stores as soon as next week. We’ll have to wa...

PearOS 8 brings the look and feel of iOS7,OSX to Linux

Supposing you’re in a situation where you’d love to work with Apple’s OS X desktop operating system, but for whatever reason you’d rather not – or cannot – work with an Apple-made piece of hardware. If you’re the alternate-solutions type, there may be hope for you with the Linux Ubuntu-based system called Pear OS. The newest version of Pear OS – that’s Pear OS 8 – works with a look and feel that’s very much the most solidly cross-breed inspired iOS/OS X system out in the wild today – again, working with Unbuntu, but certainly appearing to bust out an alternate-universe Apple system by all looks and touches. With Pear OS 8, users are able to load up to a variety of machines. This operating system works on desktop computers, tablets, and – though the developers of the system have not quite commented on this specifically as yet – massive-screened smartphones as well. This system works in both 32- and 64-bit system iterations, and will eventually work with Microsoft’s Surface line of...

Apple iPad Mini 2 packs the full Retina display , 64Bit A7 processor as well (UPDATED)

This morning Apple has officially brought on a 2nd generation of their popular iPad mini tablet, complete with Retina display. This version of the iPad mini works with a body and presentation extremely similar to the original, working with a physical appearance not all that unlike the iPad mini’s first edition. This iPad mini will be hitting the market with at least two different colorways – a darker gray and a lighter silver / white, and will be appearing aside the new 5th generation iPad – the iPad Air as well . The influence of the hardware in the original iPad mini has clearly made its mark given the appearance of the iPad Air, and here in the changes to this 2nd generation mini itself, the solid nature of the first generation again remains apparent. The big changes, instead, appear on the inside. This begins with a brand new processor chip – the Apple A7 chip, aka the same as delivered with the iPad Air and the iPhone 5s. With a new gush of power in this chip, the 2nd ge...

Apple iPad Air - the iPad 5 generations later ...(UPDATED)

Apple has officially announced the latest version of its iPad tablet. The newly named iPad Air features a design that's reminiscent of the iPad mini released last year. It's thinner and lighter than prior versions, and features a smaller bezel, which shrinks the footprint of the tablet down without compromising on screen size. Apple says it's 20 percent thinner at only 7.5mm thick, and weighs just 1.0 pound (28 percent less than the previous iPad). The screen remains the same; it's a 9.7-inch Retina Display with 2048 x 1536 pixel resolution. This is the first major redesign of Apple's flagship tablet since the iPad 2 was released in March 2011. The iPad Air features the 64-bit A7 processor and M7 motion coprocessor found in the iPhone 5S, which Apple says is 8 times faster and has 72 times better graphics performance than the old processor. It also has a 5-megapixel iSight camera and FaceTime HD front-facing camera and 10 hour battery life. Apple says the ...

Apple to hold special event on October 23 , new iPads may be on tow

Apple will hold an invitation-only event on October 22nd to show off its new iPads, as well as the new Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks release, according to a report from All Things D’s John Paczkowski. That timing seems just right for the new iPads to make an appearance — last year’s event was held on October 23rd — and Apple has previously slated OS X Mavericks for a ‘fall’ release. It also makes some sense for Apple to talk about the Mac pro, also slated for fall, and to hopefully deliver us a release date. The new iPads will include a full-size iPad and new iPad mini. It’s unclear whether Apple will up the Mini to Retina resolution this time around, but that seems fairly likely. The larger iPad is expected to get trimmed down bezels and a thinner casing and, we would assume, will also get the A7. A report last month from CE’s Micah Singleton pegged the iPad event date and says that Apple’s iPad mini will not get the A7 processor, instead relying on Apple’s A6, currently used in ...

Apple iPad 5 may feature a 8 megapixel iSight camera ,Retina iPad mini 2 may be in short supply

With the next Apple event coming on quick, the folks at KGI have suggested that both the iPad 5 and the iPad mini 2 will be coming with not just updated casings, but an updated back-facing camera too. The 5th generation iPad has been predicted to be appearing in bulk, so says KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, while the iPad mini 2 will be in slightly short supply due to the lack of full-speed-ahead retina display production. Meanwhile both devices will be appearing, says Ming-Chi, with 8-megapixel back-facing cameras in tow. It’s suggested that both the iPad mini 2 and the iPad 5 will be produced in bulk by the time 2014 rolls around, but before then (according to Rueters), numbers will be restricted for the smaller of the two devices. With the iPad 5 ready and raring to go, you’ll find KGI research’s EMS shipments results & estimates chart to have Apple producing more of the larger tablet than they’ve made in a single quarter since the iPad mini at the start of this year. The iPad min...

iOS7 waterproof hoax goes viral (don't feed the Troll)

There’s little doubt now that the world understands Apple’s design language so well that those with the ability to replicate it have more power than they know what to do with. Case in point: a falsified advertisement for iOS 7 that suggests the software update can make an iPhone waterproof. People fell for it, hook, line, and sunken smartphone. What you’re about to see is a large image – you may want to right-click and open it up if you’ve not already done so. This image was made by a comedy-seeking fan of the Apple way of doing graphic design for presentations of iDevices and software. What they’ve done is a bang-up job of suggesting iOS 7 will bring waterproofing abilities to your iPhone. If you did not already realize – there’s no software upgrade that can do this for a device that doesn’t already have the ability to repel water. That’s not a technology that exists. Sources like Buzzfeed and The Telegraph show users on both side of the situation at this point, one of them...

Apple iPhone 5S is official

Credits - Apple As expected, Apple's just announced the iPhone 5s, its latest flagship smartphone. It runs iOS 7, and looks almost exactly like the iPhone 5 but comes in different colors: silver, a new "space gray," and gold — as was heavily rumored. The standout feature is Touch ID, which is an integrated fingerprint sensor in the new sapphire home button that scans your "sub-epidermal layers" at 500 points per inch to read your fingerprint and unlock the phone. You can also authenticate purchases, so buying apps, music, and movies in iTunes and the App Store just got a lot easier. There's a capacitive ring around the that activates the sensor, and it can read your fingerprint in any orientation. You can also have it authenticate multiple fingerprints, so you can share your phone with specific family members without having to reveal your passcode. Importantly, fingerprints are encrypted and stored locally on the A7 chip in the phone itself — App...

Apple iPhone 5C is official

Credits - TheVerge The new iPhone 5c is finally official. After months of rumor and speculation, Apple has opted to introduce its latest smartphone today at a special event in Cupertino. CEO Tim Cook detailed the latest updates in iOS7, noting that Apple has been "hard at work completing iOS7" in time for its September 18th release, before inviting Phll Shiller on stage to unveiled the new iPhone 5c. It looks identical to the leaks and case parts we've seen recently, with a plastic back and a variety of colors. The back and sides of the device are made from a single part, with options for green, white, blue, red, and yellow colors. Shiller claims you "won't see seams, or part lines, or joins," thanks to the hard-coated polycarbonate. Apple has also created custom cases with a soft-feel silicon rubber that slip onto the handset. The cases, priced at $29 each, also provide an additional color option on top of the regular colors of the iPhone 5c. ...

Apple - iOS 7 will be available for download on the 18th of September

Apple's iOS 7 will arrive on the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S on September 18th. The all-new OS will also head to the iPad mini, the third- and fourth-generation iPads, and fifth-generation iPod touch on the same day. In today's keynote, Tim Cook boasted that the operating system will soon be "the world's most popular operating system." A later update will add the OS to the iPad 2 and iPhone 4. Announced back in June, iOS 7 is the first major visual overhaul of the OS since its initial introduction in 2007. It features all-new icons along with redesigned core apps, a new Notification Center, webOS-inspired multitasking, and a Control Center with settings toggles, music playback, and quick shortcuts to apps. There's also AirDrop for local file sharing over wireless, and even Apple's attempt at a Spotify and Rdio competitor in iTunes Radio. There were a couple of small feature additions today, including a male voice for Siri for the US and select other terri...
