 Intel is set to challenge AMD's Radeon and NVIDIA to the GPU game thanks to its new Xe -HPG core architecture (based on TSMC's 6nm architecture) the upcoming ARC GPU - which are currently un-named are said to be 1st  generation "  Alchemist GPU's"  which will use the Xe core and will rival most offerings from AMD's Navi based 6700XT and Nvidia's RTX3070 and will pack ray tracing processing  and overclocking for those who require optimum performance. AMD has been rocking Intel HQ for a while now , the processors , which undercut the high price monopoly enjoyed by Intel for similar performance is now set to get even better with the announcement of the Ryzen 3 series which is technically the arch nemesis of the Intel Core i3 series  . Rumors about the next gen Zenpads leaked out last week confirming the existence of two Asus tablets with one being the Asus Zenpad 7 and the  Zenpad 8 . Details and pictures of the two tablets remain sketchy , but today we have some leaked photos of the upcoming Zenpad 8 by Ausdroid . According to the pictures , the Zenpad 8 is Asus' first 4:3 Android tablet , previous models , including the upcoming cheaper Zenpad 7 are 16:9 but the new model features a 2048x1536 resolution IPS unit which confirms to the 4:3 standard which is slowly becoming the new default Android tablet screen aspect ratio . Other specs include a 64bit Intel Z3560 and a decent 2GB of RAM . Acer's has unveiled two new gaming laptops in its V Nitro series . The two laptops , which come in two different screen sizes - 15" (V15) and 17" (V17) are both set to launch before December with the V15 set for launch this month and the V17 set for launch in late November . Today , Microsoft announced their new API for DirectX 12 , the new version will allow developers better control on their graphics and allow more complex rendering features which will bring better games for consoles like the Xbox One ,Pc's and future mobile devices . Microsoft however , wants the Directx 12 API to exist as a console like API because devs can work with consistency and have better predictability . Direct3D 12 however will spread the work load across multiple cores , lowering the strain on the hardware , according to Microsoft ,40% of existing Directx 11 hardware will be ready for DirectX 12. A few hours ago , Intel launched their latest 4th Gen silicon - the Core i7 Extreme ,dubbed the Devil's Canyon , The 4th gen version is a 8 core 16 threaded processor with unlocked cores for overclocking .
