If you were a 90's tech-savvy kid or followed news outlets, chances are that you may have come across the brand Tamagotchi - a Japanese toy manufacturer who 25 years ago invented the original Tamagotchi Egg - also known as the Egg watch, was basically a tiny kids toy with a digital pet with which you can play certain games and even-take "selfies" by superimposing the image over images. The original Tamagotchi - debuted in 1996 is long gone but the concept of the virtual pet has lived on in generations since with the new Tamagotchi smart bringing in the same basic concept in a smartwatch format. Apart from the clock, the watch features your Tamagotchi pet and a slot to plug in TamaSmart cards - basically a usb style drive which contains special content for your pets - backgrounds and scenes and activities.
