Rumors of a  Nexus 5 for 2015 are all around the interwebs ,but today we have something special as a test run on Antutu5 shows a mysterious  nexus 5 (2015) hitting a record making 85530 on the benchmark scale which is insanely high considering that current flagships like the S6 , M8 and G4 are about 20K below this figure . The mysterious device is expected to be built by LG - a company which gained reputation after some popular -well built gadgets like the original Nexus 5 , the G Pad 8.3 and the highly acclaimed LG G4 . although we would expect the G4 to serve as the chassis for the Next nexus device , the upcoming LG G4 pro might be a better platform as a Snapdragon 820 is rumored to be on board . Nvidia's new Tegra X1 chip made headlines as being the first mobile chip to hit the 1 teraflop range . The processor - which uses a Big little architecture with Cortex A57 and Cortex A53 cores in a 4+4 configuration and 256 Maxwell GPU cores has enough power to close in on top tier consoles has now taken a score of 74,977 points on Antutu - a popular benchmark application .  The X1 chip is currently top dog as similar products like the Exynos 7420 on the upcoming Galaxy S6 only hit about 60,000 and therefore the X1 will probably be a powerhouse like the K1 chip of 2014 . Although devices packing the X1 chip will be limited , Nvidia - who also makes the "Shield" series of tablets will definitely include this chipset in their upcoming shield tablet which is rumored to be launched on the 3rd of March . Nvidia has alwaysbeen first in launching benchmark setting mobile processors for a long time ,and with another year over ,Nvidia has once again claimed the benchmark title to itself with the new Tegra X1 Syetem on a chip . This new Tegra chip is said to be the first "Octa-core" tegra processor from the company and according to preliminary benchmarks , the chip is also the first mobile processor to reach one Teraflop of floating point performance (which is close to most high end consoles like the Xbox One) - this number has been achieved thanks to 256 Maxwell GPU cores which is the same GPU architecture found in the new GTX980 series of graphics cards in high end gaming pc's .To put it into perspective  , the first supercomputer to break the teraflop barrier in 2000 (ASCI Red) needed 76 Pentuim Pro processors and a million watts to power it .Raw CPU power to the chip is provided by 8 64 bit cores comprising of 4+4 islands with 4 Cortex A57 cores with 2MB of L2 cache a...

LG has been working on their own processor for some time , the company , which anounced their plans of making a processor called "Odin" are now said to launch it inside LG's latest phablet called the LG F490L Liger . The Chipset , which is said to use Arm's Big Little design architecture , employs 4 Cortex A15 cores and 4 A7 cores for low power usage , according to preliminary benchmarks the chipset is not really "that impressive" and it sits well below the current crop of high end smartphones .But ,considering that the Liger only has a 1080p resolution on its 5.9" display, a 3000mAh battery and a 13mp rear camera without LG's flashy Laser autoficus  its probably not designed to be a killer smartphone after all ,and even if the benchmarks are low , its still a worthy adversary for all mid range devices once it launches soon . With less than a day for its official debut , the HTC One M8 (HTC's flagship phone for 2014) has reportedly smoked all of its competition on the Basemark OS2 and the graphic intensive Basemark X benchmarks today .The phone however has managed to pick out a comfortable 7th position in Browsermark web browsing testing but overall the Snapdragon 801 powered smartphone is surely a killer device for this year . This evening, the new Nexus 7 was spotted in a couple shots posted by a Reddit user, complete with packaging and a timestamp. A few short hours later, the folks over at Android Police have produced a full roster of specifications and benchmarks for the 7-inch slate, giving the most detailed look at the upcoming Nexus 7 yet. The Nexus 7 is codenamed Razor, and according to the benchmarks features a 7-inch 1920 x 1200 display, as various leaks have suggested. With the bar on the screen, the actual resolution works out to 1200 x 1824 pixels. Under the hood, there’s a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core 1.5GHz processor and 2GB of RAM. Andreno 320 is pegged for the GPU. Also as leaks have suggested, the slate runs Android 4.3, but we’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out what exactly the changes that come with that entail. As the rumoured launch date draws closer, the Xiaomi Mi3 breaks cover once again in leaked benchmarks showing off a Nvidia Tegra 4 processor and 1080 display! HTC’s 2013 Androids have thus far been generally higher-end devices. Sure, the First is no One, but specs like that 4.3-inch 720p screen make it clear that this is no bargain-basement model. We all knew that trend couldn’t last forever, and sure enough, we’re now getting a look at some lesser Androids to help fill out HTC’s handset lineup, upon the discovery of evidence pointing to both the Desire 200 and Desire 600. The first thing you should notice is the naming: gone are the days of the Desire C and Desire V, replaced with a system reminiscent of Nokia, or even Qualcomm and its SoC offerings. As you should be able to tell from the numbering, the Desire 200 looks to be the lower-end of the pair. The phone shows up in a Taiwanese database as HTC’s model 102e. It looks like HP might be preparing a major Android push in the near future. With the HP Slate 7 now out the door, there have been two new HP Android devices allegedly revealed today, both thanks to AnTuTu benchmarking scores. Earlier we reported on the HP Slate 21 AIO, and now it looks like a device called the HP SlateBook 10 X2 is also in the cards. Just like the HP Slate 21 AIO , the SlateBook 10 X2 benchmark reveals a device equipped with a Nvidia Tegra 4 processor and running on Android 4.2.1. While they run the same processor, the SlateBook X2 actually scored a bit higher on the posted results with a 27,259 versus the Slate 21′s 23,584. Of course, benchmark results can vary wildly from test to test, so the difference in scoring might not mean much. So is this legit? Hard to say, as benchmarks can certainly be faked. A new AnTuTu benchmark score has shown up for HP Slate 21 AIO, running Android 4.1.2 Jellybean and packing a Tegra 4 processor. The device will have 21 Inch display. As we know, Asus has already unveiled a massive all in one/tablet powered by Android named The 18.4 inch Transformer AiO and Transformer AiO runs both Android and Windows. Tegra 4 processor is to power several gadgets starting this quarter. Till now there are no words about Slate 21 AIO by HP official. Android users love speed , especially in benchmarks , well in that case , the latest results from the Galaxy S4 ( Exynos Octa ) will surely put a smile on evry speed loving Android fan out there . The S4  although its still behind the Tegra 4 in terms of raw power , still managed to leave the hotshot android devices such as the HTC One and the Xperia Z in the dust with a score of 27417  on Antutu and 12726 on Quadrant  . hopefully the 27,000 benchmark  will probably end up near the 30,000 mark once the GS4 gets more software updates .
