Nokia XR20

Nokia has announced their latest - and the first rugged smartphone with Android - the Nokia XR20. The phone powered by a Snapdragon 480 Soc and has 6GB of RAM with 128GB storage is typical of other mid range handsets except that this has a MIL-STD 810G drop resistance of 1.8m and has IP68 dust and water ingress protection and a rugged looking body without a raised front display - which consists of a 6.67" IPS panel with 550nits of brightness and a punch-hole for a 8MP front shooter. The rear camera module consist of a 48MP main sensor , and a 13MP ultrawide  camera. The battery consists of a 4630mAh cell and it features 18W fast charging. The phone is also said to receive 3 years of Android support (The phone comes with Android 11)  and 4 years of security updates and is said to be priced at $550 and ships of August 24th.   Source - GSMArena  

Nokia C30 and Nokia 6310 Announced alongside latest true wireless earbuds.

Nokia has announced their latest Android Go powered C30 and Nokia's remake of the 6310 -  A classic phone from the past. Nokia has quietly announced their latest Android Go powered handset - the Nokia C20 Plus with Android 11 Go Edition. The handset on the outside (and the inside) is basically basic as you can get. Although not as Spartan as the C1 lineup, the handset does not bring much to the table as it is powered by a Unisoc SC9863A chipset and 2GB/3GB of RAM and 32GB storage with a MicroSD card slot. The display of the phone is said to be 6.82" and has a 720x1600 resolution IPS panel, the front sensor features a 5MP unit and the rear features a 13MP and 2MP depth sensor as well. Considering the phone's specs, the device will certainly be a battery king as it packs a 6000 mAh and 10W charging. Nokia 110 4G and Nokia 105 4G unveiled

HMD has unveiled 2 new LTE enabled "Featurephones" named the Nokia 110 4G and Nokia 105 4G. These two phones - designed to compete in the basic phone market, packs staple features such as FM Radio - which no longer requires a plugged in headsets, a tiny TFT display at 1.8" and an MP3 player, flashlight and a 1020mAh battery which would give the handset days of stand by time and around 16hours of talk time on 2G and 5 hours on LTE. The major difference between the two devices is the addition of a VGA video capable rear camera on the Nokia 110.Pricing for the phones are not yet available , but pricing may start at around $20.  Source - Gizmochina

Nokia C01 Plus

Nokia has announced a new entry level handset named the Nokia C01 Plus. The handset, which follows HMD's time and tested Android Go handset design does not bring much to the table in terms of looks, but for $90 there won't be much to complain about it either. The phone runs on Android 11 Go edition The specs include a 5.45" 720p IPS panel with a single 5MP front camera and front LED flash as well as 5MP rear with a Rear LED flash as well. The phone, powered by a Unisoc SC9863A chipset is also accompanied by 1GB of RAM and comes with 16GB of storage onboard (MicroSD upto 128GB is available). The phone features MicroUSB charging and has a 3000 mAh removable battery. There is also a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio onboard. Source - GSMArena

Nokia (HMD) has officially announced their flagship spec Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphone today . the phone , designed to occupy a slot between the mid range Nokia 7 and the upcoming Nokia 9 flagship , features a Lumia inspired metal chassis and a 5.5" P-OLED display which has a resolution of 2560x1440 . The phone , like most high end products , features a IP 67 ingress protection rating and a healthy amount of RAM - 6GB in this case , paired with a 2.5Ghz Snapdragon 835 Soc with Adreno 540 GPU . Storage wise , the phone holds 128GB internally and this can be expanded to another 256GB via MicroSD . Nokia unveils new 3310 , Nokia 6 and 6 Arte , Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 handsets

Nokia has revived the legendary Nokia 3310 title , a title which was previously reserved only for the phone gods of yesteryear . The handset , launched after Nokia's aquisition by HMD global , has pulled the cover off this 49 euro handset and its here with specs the older handset could only dream about . First off , is the design , although it is rather odd and a bit too retro for this era , it is still pocketable if you are planning to survive any modern apocalypse . running off a unknown processor , the phone has 16mb of ram and has a sd card for storage . there is also a FM radio , 2G browsing an mp3 player , Bluetooth with SLAM for quick image transfer and a 51 hour standby and 22 hours of use .
