Leica has unveiled their Japan exclusive Leitz Phone 1 - a phone based on the Sharp Aquos R6 . The phone , equipped with the monstrous 1" Sensor from the Sharp model features Leica enhancements in its optics and interface and thus everything from its finish to packaging is more up-market than its commercial cousin. At the heart of the phone lies a Snapdragon 888 processor and 12GB or RAM plus 256GB storage.The front, which contains a large 6.67" 2730x1260 pixel IGZO OLED display with 240Hz refresh rate also houses a punchhole front camera sensor of 12.6MP. The biggest feature of this Leitz Phone 1 is it's 1" 20MP sensor - the sensor is technically the largest sensor packed into a smartphone (The title goes to its cousin the R6 as well) and this is complemented by a single Rear ToF sensor for autofocus. The rear camera module also features a rear lens cap - a first for a modern smartphone. The rest of the specifications are similar to the R6 with a 5000 mAh battery...
