Verizon has launched a new prepaid smartphone with the partnership of LG. The phone ,available with $30,$45 and $60 prepaid plans with unlimited calls and texts and 1-3GB data caps is just priced at $69 for the smartphone . The phone , made by LG is called the Optimus Zone 3 ,and it features a 4.5" LCD display and has a 480p resolution .The phone features a 1.1 Ghz Snapdragon processor and has 1GB of Ram and 32GB of storage .The device features a 5 mp rear camera and a 2mp fromt facing one . Yesterday , HTC launched its latest Verizon only Windows Phone device based on the successful Android handset by the same name , The HTC One M8 (for Windows) is basically the same handset as its Android counterpart, except for the Operating system . Big phones are a big deal these days, and HTC looks to be getting in on the fun. After leaking a few times in various blurry-cam shots, the HTC One Max has showed up again, but this time it's wearing a Verizon logo. The device was reportedly being shown to sales reps in a Verizon store when the images were captured. The One Max looks as big as the specs would lead you to believe. It is said to have a giant 6-inch screen and a bit of extra height to accommodate the BoomSound speakers. The source of the pictures also claims the Max does indeed have a fingerprint sensor and a removable back cover. Android users in the UK are set for a treat this fall. An anonymous tipster, who claims to work for UK carrier Three UK, has passed along a screenshot regarding device release dates. The picture, believed to be internal documentation from Three, shows the release dates for two highly anticipated devices: the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Sony Xperia Z1. The Note 3 is arriving on Three September 16th, while the Z1 (Honami) is set to arrive on September 24th, according to the document. Both devices show the announcement date of September 4 at IFA, hinting that employees should not be discussing the news with customers or, you know, sending screenshots to Engadget. Jolla recently revealed its first phone , and now Finland-based carrier DNA has confirmed it will be the first operator in the world to offer the self-titled handset. This week it’s become apparent that not only are sales of the HTC First lacking – the device nicknamed  as the first “true” Facebook Phone – the software isn’t doing so hot either. As the Facebook Home software for Android reaches 1 million downloads, it also falls off the top 100 downloaded apps list. Much less exciting than it was when it first launched . According to a “trusted source” speaking with BGR, the HTC First has already been scheduled for an “end of life” date. This means that the device will no longer be sold in stores, its support date will be shorter than expected, and the carrier will no longer be advertising for it (of course). This news comes soon after the device started its pricing at $199 several weeks ago and just last week started a sale for less than a dollar. Nokia has officially pulled back the curtain on the Lumia 928 Windows Phone 8 device, which advertises its PureView camera as its marquee feature. The new flagship phone offers an 8.7-megapixel rear-facing camera, which boasts optical image stabilization for better low-light photography and more stable pics overall. The new phone has wireless charging and NFC, as did its predecessor, and comes with a 4.5-inch OLED display, which has a 1280 x 768 display with 334PPI, the same as the Lumia 920. According to the latest leaks a certain Nokia Lumia 928 is on its way to Verizon and judging by the leaked renders of the black phone, as well as the follow-up white phone render, it appears to be a Lumia 920 on steroids, while maintaining the general aspect and feature guidelines of the Nokia flagship. Most probably based off of these leaked renders user PhoneDesigner on Facebook has published these renders of the “Lumia 928″. The back grill as well as the PureView branding on the camera and the Xenon flash also seems to match the leaked renders, in addition to the speaker below the Windows home button. The Verizon branding seems to be missing and the Nokia logo appears to be centered, hence this is an “unofficial render of a global Lumia 928″. How about that for a render?
