More Canon EOS R3 images leak out

Canon has basically stepped up their game when it comes to its new RF mount. The new EOS R3- which is said to be Canon's Mid level Professional body camera which will kind mirror the existing 7D DSLR lineup in functionality and pave the way for an eventual flagship EOS R which would mirror the 1DX as the king of sports-action and wildlife. The EOS R3 specifications are not official as of yet, but we suspect it to carry commonly found features such as dual pixel AF and a Stacked sensor design as well as a perviously unavailable Eye-control AF which lets the camera move focus by tracking the user's eye (The last Canon cameras to feature this technology was released in the 80s) allowing users to track and shoot moving objects - an indication that this camera is somewhat of a Mirrorless full frame 7D equivalent (minus the APSC sensor) . The R3 is also said to feature a rugged design as well as full weather sealing and retail for around $6000 at launch. Till such time, enjoy these l...

Canon has finally decided to include 4k in one of their entry level cameras , the new M50 , a spiritual successor to the EOS M5 from last year is now the latest Canon mirrorless camera (and the only one currently) to shoot the much requested video format . The camera , on the outside , looks similar to previous EOS M cameras as It has a 3” vari-angle LCD with 1.04 million dots and a 2.36 million dot EVF similar to most EOS-M’s of the past , but this time , the camera features 4K UHD (with a 1.6x crop) and 1080p at 120fps thanks to the new Digic 8 processor. The rest of the camera specs include Canon’s trusty 24MP APS-C sensor with 143 AF points , the camera also supports EF/and EFS lenses with Canon’s proprietary adapter , which will allow you to have almost perfect autofocus capability even with glass made for DSLR’s . Canon EOS M6

The Mirrorless market for Canon has relatively been good as its EOS M5 has so far been well recieved as it packs basically the same specs as the 80D in a more advanced body. The new M6 , a camera that basically mirrors the M5's specs has now officially been released . The EOS M6 , as the name suggests , sits at one tier below the M5 according to Canon's lower the better numbering scheme. The camera , packed with Canon's 24.2 mp APSC sensor also features Dual pixel AF on board as well . The camera also features a maximum shooting rate of 7 fps and 9 fps on autofocus lock .The camera also features a ISO range of 100- 25600 and electronic 5 axis stabilization . The biggest and probably the most odd "feature" is the lack of a EVF . This is apparently a strange cost saving feature as the optional EVF DC 2 hotshoe mounted viewfinder which is an additional $249 . This evf is sold seperately and it features a 2.36million dot display, but if you are not in a positio...

Is Nokia prepping a Quad - Core Windows smartphone?

Qualcomm recently announced the first quad-core chipset with Windows Phone 8 support and Nokia may already have a phone with it in the works according to GFXBench results. The promised GDR3 update should bring quad-core and 1080p screen support. However, the Nokia device that ran the benchmark had screen resolution of 720p, suggesting this might be a separate update. The GPU of the chipset was Adreno 305, but unfortunately GFXBench didn’t detect CPU clockspeed or the amount of RAM. The Snapdragon 400 chipset that Qualcomm announced was a mid-range model with four Cortex-A7 CPUs at 1.2GHz and LTE support. Qualcomm also has Krait 300-based quad-cores with Adreno 305, but it's not clear if they support Windows Phone 8 and without CPU clockspeed it's hard to guess which one it is anyway. The benchmark is also mum on the name, but it confirms Nokia as the manufacturer and Windows Phone 8 as the OS. There's been some talk that the Nokia EOS will pack a quad-core CPU, but ...

Nokia EOS gets "leaked"

While earlier this week it was reported that AT&T was all but a lock as the first US carrier of the upcoming Nokia EOS device, the device itself hadn’t yet been seen in physical form. Today several images have appeared showing how this machine will be a combination of forms. While the front and sides of this Nokia smartphone appear very much to be right along the lines of the Nokia Lumia 920, the back and its hump show its powers inherent: here lies the power of the original Nokia 808 Pureview. What you’re seeing is a the so-called Nokia EOS lying next to a standard Lumia 920 or 800- both of them having essentially the same body build. You’ll notice what appears to be the same glass up front, Windows Phone home button, and polycarbonate body we’ve witnessed appearing on Lumia devices for over a year, this time in yellow. This color and the fact that this device has a rather sizable camera bump on its back link up well with the tipped specifications appearing earlier this we...
