Alcatel has announced two new smartphones for 2021, the handsets powered by Android GO may not scream high performance, but for budget conscious buyers the affordable pricing will hopefully makeup for the performance deficit. Alcatel 1L pro  Priced at around $135, the 1L Pro offers a Octa core Unisoc SC9863A and 2GB of RAM with 32GB of onboard storage.The phone features a 6.1" HD+ resolution IPS display and has a 5MP front camera in a notch as well as a 13MP and 2MP rear camera array.The phone features a 3000 mAh battery. Alcatel 1 The Alcatel 1 is the bargain phone option of the duo, priced at $70, the phone packs a 5" FWVGA display and a Quadcore MediaTek MT6739 SOC with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage and is expandable (like the 1L pro) the front camera is 2MP and the rear features a single 5MP shooter. Alcatel unveiled their idol 4 series of smartphone at MWC (today) . The two smartphones are basically successors to the popular Onetouch idol 3 launched last year and this year they are back with a bang (for your buck as well) .The company , owned by TCL has changed a few things around this time and so from now on Alcatel will not be using the "Onetouch" name on its products in order to make things short and sweet . Alcatel has unveiled Android and Windows tablets and smartphones at CES today . The Pixi lineup - one of Alcatels mid tier sub brands is now even bigger thanks to Alcatels lineup which includes a Windows tablet - Pixi 3 (8) ,a Android tablet - Pixi 4 (7) and Android smartphones - Pixi 4 (6) (4) (3.5) . ALCATEL PIXI 3 (8) Alcatel Pixi 3 (8) is Alcatels first tablet running Windows 10 mobile . Although the Idol series is making huge gains for the company, Alcatel is still determined to keep their entry level segment up to date and this time they chose to launch a  more affordable alternative to the best seller called the Idol 3C Alcatel OneTouch Idol 3C  This phone is basically a spin off the Idol 3 and most of the parts are somewhat identical , like its "idol" the 3C has a 5.5" IPS display which is still a 1080p one  , the same Snapdragon 615 is also brought forward and so is the almost identical amount of RAM - 2GB . When it comes to Android tablets , you can buy a device in a huge variety of screen sizes ranging from 7" to all the way up to about 12" but Alcatel -a company that has a long reputation for launching multiple devices at trade shows has unveiled the biggest one yet - the Alcatel Xess  17.3" tablet . At first glance ,t he Xess looks a bit like a all in one pc , well thats because Alcatel actually markets the tablet as a family oriented device which will sit on the kitchen counter at one time and the child's bedroom the next . This year , the portfolio is a little bit shorter than previous years but surprisingly Alcatel has managed to grab some attention due to the launch of a new Smartwatch which , at $149 is quite a steal and a new line of affordable 4G capable smartphones that run three mobile operating systems with no change to hardware or price The new Pixi 3 series is Alcatel's latest attempt at launching affordable handsets , the phones are said to be OS -agnostic - which basically means the hardware has no speciality operating system . The Alcatel Idol 2 has a 5.0-inch 720p IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 8 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front camera, NFC, LTE and Android 4.3 (upgradable to 4.4) in a 7.3mm body. The Idol 2 is priced at €199 and €249 for the 3G and 4G models, respectively.
