A few hours ago , Intel launched their latest 4th Gen silicon - the Core i7 Extreme ,dubbed the Devil's Canyon , The 4th gen version is a 8 core 16 threaded processor with unlocked cores for overclocking . The Chip also supports DDR4 memory and has a better thermal interface. The Core i7 Extreme will be available in mid-2014 . Microsoft has just announced its second generation Surface tablets – the Surface 2 and Surface 2 Pro. Both slates are thinner, faster and lighter, with better displays, USB 3.0-enabled, and powered by the latest 8.1 version of Windows 8 RT and Windows 8 Pro.
