LG's Watch Urbane is now available on Pre-order

A few days ago , LG launched its premuim Watch Urbane , the Android wear timepiece  , which was a premium version of the G watch R , came in either Gold or Silver colors along with leather straps , pricing for the device was still kept secret , but today , Expansys - a UK online retailer has started to accept pre-orders  with the device listed for GBP 299.99 ( $465 )  . Although the price is steep for a smartwatch , the added metal finish and the leather strap makes the watch indistinguishable to a standard watch of the same class , and unlike a standard one , this runs Android wear - which is Google's Android program for smartwatches . The watch has a 1.2Ghz  Snapdragon 400 chipset , 512MB of RAM , a 1.3" circular P-OLED display and a 410 mAh battery along with a IP67 water resistant rating . LG G watch gets 50% off in India

LG's G watch is probably one of the most desired legacy Android wear watches in the market right now ,although its not appealing as the Moto 360 or a G watch R , the normal G watch is probably a good option if you are on the hunt for a affordable Android wear device . The G watch is sold globally at about $150 right now , but in other countries , taxes propel the cost to a even higher amount and in this case the G watch is priced at INR 15,000 which is about $245 , but Flipkart , a Indian online retailer has slashed the price to $122 ( INR 7500 which is a 50% drop from the original price , and this is a even lower price than the international list price in Amazon and some Ebay deals , so if you are in India , you can get it now for this bargain price , and if you live elsewhere , better hold up for the great Black friday deals that are happening now . (Price has dropped to INR 6499 now ) Written by Rakitha for MasHD Source - Gizmobic

LG G Watch R

IFA is going to be big this year , but in order to avoid the rush , many manufacturers release their device early in order to get better media attention , LG is one such company , yesterday , they anunced the LG G3 Stylus smartphone , and today they launched their Second Android wear smartwatch - The LG G Watch R . At first glance , the watch looks a bit like the Moto 360, but unlike the Moto 360 - which is not completly round because of a sensor bezel at the bottom , the G Watch R is complete circular with a number inscribed ring to make it look more "authentic" . The watch , running on Android Wear - which is a build of Android for smartwatches , uses the round format to display notifications and text . The watch is powered by a 1.2Ghz Snapdragon 400 chipset and it has 512MB of RAM and 4GB local storage .The watch has a 410 mAh battery which is probably enough to give the 320x320 Plastic OLED display enough power to run for more than a day.The watch has a acclero...

(Rumor) LG G watch 2 might be unveiled with a OLED display

LG's G watch was one of the first 3 Android wear smartwatches to be unveiled at Google IO this year  , the watch, which had a dual core Snapdragon 400 processor , a IPS display was sold below the $300 price , but like most first gen products , it wasn't complete , Batterylife among all the smartwatches available right now is poor , but the G watch mighht have suffered a bit more due to the display type , which used more power than the OLED based competition , so according to new rumor , LG is planning to unveil the LG G-Watch 2 , which , like the predecessor will feature a Qualcomm processor but the display will be replaced by a OLED panel , but so far no solid confirmation of the device has been confirmed , so we can accept this as a grain of salt for now.
