Oppo Find 7 might pack a 50 megapixel rear camera . Snapdragon 801 chip

It seems Oppo is turning the dial all the way to eleven with the upcoming Oppo Find 7. After mentioning a 5.5-inch, 2560x1440 resolution display in one of the teaser images in the past (along with a 5.0-inch, 1920x1080 version) and running the new Snapdragon 801 SoC, the latest bit of spec to leak is a 50 megapixels camera. Yes, 50 megapixels. An image uploaded on Weibo has a resolution of 8160x6120 and the EXIF data clearly mentions the Oppo Find 7 as the camera name. It's hard to judge overall camera quality from just one image but it's a decent looking image nonetheless with a fair amount of detail and not much noise but there is a good amount of purple fringing. The image looks a lot better when resized to around 8 megapixels so hopefully Oppo will have a Lumia PureView like oversampling option. The phone will be announced in Beijing on March 19 and we'll find out more about it then. GSMArena , Weibo

Oppo Find 7 will pack a Snapdragon 800 processor , and massive battery

RBMen has come across some more specs for the upcoming next Oppo Find handset, which we already heard is rumoured to be running the brand new Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. The new device will supposedly be called the Find 7 not the Find 6, as it seems that Oppo prefers odd numbers. So without further delays here are the specs: Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor (unknown clock speed) 5 inch 1920×1080 display 2GB RAM 13 megapixel rear camera 8 megapixel front facing camera NFC enabled 4000mAh battery The big deal here is the massive 4000mAh battery, which should help give this 5 inch handset plenty of battery life. Compare this with other 5 inch smartphones, like the Galaxy S4 which only has a 2600mAh battery, and you’re looking at a significant battery improvement. However there’s still no word on whether the battery will be removable or not, I wouldn’t bet on it based on the Find 5, but with that size I doubt it’s going to be such an issue for many users. Next Gen Oppo Find will feature a Snapdragon 800 processor

Sources close to Oppo are reporting that the next Oppo Find model could launch as early as September and will get the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. The Find 5 has been doing extremely well in China and across the globe, and as we expected, work on the next generation phone has already began. According to sources close to Oppo, the new Find model (possibly the Find 6) will feature a Snapdragon 800 CPU and 8 mega-pixel front camera. The rest of the hardware will remain the same as the current Find 5, so 1080 5-inch display, 2GB RAM, NFC and 13 mega-pixel Sony Exmor sensor. The real question here though is this an all new Oppo Find 6 or an updated version of the current Find 5? via - GizChina
