Panasonic GH5s - Is Panasonic working on a low light monster ?

Panasonic is on a roll with its Micro Four thirds cameras recently . The GH5 , launched as their flagship mirrorless camera quickly became the darling of video shooters all over the world . But Panasonic ,who decided to cash in on the GH5's success ,launched the photo oriented LUMIX G9 last month . The new G9 basically had almost the same features as the GH5 , but was designed to be more of a rugged nature camera (following the likes of the Olympus OMD EM1 II) . But with competition increasing - especially from Sony's Alpha division , the company is now rumored to announce one more hit this year - the rumored GH5s. The GH5s , another camera based on the GH5 chassis , is rumored to be the first micro four thirds camera designed for extreme low light . not much is known about the camera body, but it is said to feature Panasonic's new signature red ring on the mode dial to set it apart from the regular GH5 ( apparently 43rumors published an article with a photo of what a...

Rumor - Zenit's Mirrorless camera to feature Leica internals .

Photo credits - Calvertjournal Zenit - a once popular brand during the 70's and 80s disappeared into the pages of history after the fall of the Soviet Union . The emergence of reliable Digital cameras brought an end to these 35mm film systems as they were seen as dinosaurs in a fast changing world ,and as the need for older lenses dropped , Zenit , along with many other M42 mount lenses dropped to bargain bin prices . But things started to change with the emergence of Mirrorless cameras - once seen as an alternative camera choices instead of the Canon and Nikon market duopoly, adopted a lens-agnostic design which allowed the ability to use older manual lenses and thus , the bargain bin prices started increase as the demand for cheap lenses for photography and video increased . Zenit , a company which was only a hulk of its former glory , knew the importance of staying relevant and decided to produce manual lenses which could be adapted into mirrorless cam...

Zenit may have plans for a full frame Mirrorless camera

via Rostec.Ru If you know your cameras , then you may have heard of Zenit - a camera company from Soviet Russia which won hearts and minds of photographers even after the collapse of the Soviet union \.But like most communist era consumer equipment manufacturers , Zenit, basically disappeared overtime ,leaving behind only some  M42 mount lenses on eBay (most being priced at the cost of a decent Buffet meal) . But now (recently) Zenit has once again resurrected itself into the camera stage with the release of the Zenitar 50mm f0.95  , Zenitar 50mm f 1.2 and Zenitar 85mm f1.2 in 2016 and now is apparently dreaming on going big once again with their own Mirrorless Full frame camera . Speaking to to Moscow Region Radio 1 ,Igor Sergeyev (Deputy Director General for Civilian Production and Consumer Goods,Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant)  Spoke of the full frame camera featuring "characteristic contours, ergonomics, [and] camera lines." with luxury metal and lea...

iPhone 8 (7s) may feature 4K @60fps recording

Rumors about Apple's next iPhone are all around the interwebs these days , the phone , which is expected to bring a massive change to current iPhone design doctrine with some rumors speculating a minor camera placement change and some going as far to state a full "edge" type display with no home button are probably left to be seen , but the more believable rumors predict the next iPhone to shoot 4K at 60fps - a major upgrade over the 30fps available on the current model . Eagle eye leakers , who managed to spot a single line of code listing the frame rate also found out that this is for the front camera , but like most rumors and beta firmware leaks , this resolution is probably for the main shooter , unless Apple is really serious about making its front camera equally good as the rear one (which is also possible as Apple is rumored to bring facial recognition to the next iPhone ) Overall adding 4K @60fps will give the next iPhone an edge over the competition and be e...

This new sensor - which has 21 effective megapixels is also a 1/2.3" sensor which puts in the same class as most high end ...

HTC One M10 - what we know so far

HTC really deserves a second shot at redeeming themselves from past mistakes , the company - regarded as one of the most innovative smartphone companies until a few years ago was also the first to introduce 4G smartphones , the first Android phone and even helped create the first Windows mobile device and Sony's first Xperia handset .But with competition getting stiff , HTC found itself in a tough position where they could no longer sell their low end devices as tech titans like Samsung took over , by 2012 HTC was in a tough position in the flagship smartphone race as well , coupled with a few blunders , this mighty company slowly faded from being innovative to being scolded at in the tech world as their One M handsets became too plain and poorly executed .Fast forward to 2015 and we have HTC making a underwhelming handset - the M9 which some say was probably another nail at HTC's coffin , but is it ? Worry not as HTC is said to unveil its next flagship today , the new handse...

Apple's Wednesday event is only a day away and so far the rumor mill is going in -full steam . The September 9 event - which is said to unveil the next gen iPhone  (iPhone 6S , iPhone 6S plus and iPhone 6C?) is also rumored to be the event where Apple is to announce a new iPad - namely the iPad Pro - a tablet that will revolutionize multitasking for the world of tablets . The rumored iPad Pro is basically a beefed up version of the current iPad Air 2 with the addition of a new 12.9" monstrous display , a Apple A9/A9X soc , a force touch system for the display and a massive battery and a even bigger price tag of atleast around double that of the 9.7 version . The tablet for now is just a rumor and its better off keeping it that way , but for starters ,Apple does have split screen multitasking for some extent in its current Air 2 .so a bigger canvas might be a viable choice if you are into that sort of thing ,say a businessman , but due to the lack of a full "desktop...

Amazon may be prepping up a $50, 6" tablet

Amazon struck gold with the original 7" Kindle fire tablet a few years back . The tablet revolutionized the tablet industry forever as it paved the way for the Nexus 7 and the iPad Air , bringing the small tablet pricing down so everyone could own one .Although the $100 Kindle fire tablet still exists in new iterations, none of the successors really had any impact as competition in the tablet market is very tough as Samsung and Apple basically own the turf . Amazon , not let down by the not so great sales of its high priced tablets and failure of its Fire Phone are now allegedly planning to launch a even cheaper $50 Android based Kindle tablet aimed at new users (possibly children) as a affordable device fot the Christmas/Holiday season .The alleged $50 tablet is said to be made on the already cheap $99 Kindle Fire HD6 chassis so we can expect to see a similar 6" panel inside .The tablet might also skip on the rear  camera and there are rumors that it will come with only on...
