Philips unveiled their new 5.5inch 2K resolution smartphone today , named i966 Aurora , the phone is basically Philip's latest club pass into the world of high end smartphones .The phone , which runs a custom -Philips version of Android called YunOS 3.0 and it has a Snapdragon 801 processor . The phone also has a fingerprint sensor and a Sony made 20.7MP rear camera .The phone is said be available right now and it is said to retail at about CNY 3699 which is $604 . The Vivo XShot is the latest flagship smartphone from Vivo , if you haven't heard about the company, panic not , because Vivo is a China-Specific OEM, so don't have any buyers remorse over a phone you just bought . The XShot , as the name suggests was rumored to pack a 24MP camera at first , but the phone actually features a Sony-made 13MP sensor with OIS and a f1.8 aperture  the camera has 4K video recording and a two tone LED flash , but interestingly , the  phone features a 8MP front camera with a single LED flash as well , so with selfies being the new duckface , the LED flash will surely help . There was once a time when phone manufacturers gave free accessories and complimentary products with every phone purchase . Nokia usually had the habit of putting in a free SD card with every box sold , but as time progressed , the habit of gifting stopped . But now , with the launch of the Nokia X series , the free SD cards are back!. Xiaomi is a Chinsese phone manufacturer that sells top notch hardware for rock bottom prices the company experienced massive growth over last year and this year , with the help of the ex- Google Android VP Hugo Barra , the company has now set its eyes on the tablet market with a new Xiaomi MIUI ROM for Android . Currently Xiaomi doesn't have a a tablet of their own , but for now , they are testing their MIUI rom on a 2013 Nexus 7 , and as far as the pictures say , the MIUI Tablet interface looks really good but hopefully we might be able to see it in action on a Xiaomi built tablet of their own . We really expected the Nokia X to be a hit,with its ultra affordable $90 price tag and Android(forked) with the Nokia Badge , this might very well bring Nokia some fame and fortune for the years to come , Today , Nokia has updated their Weibo account with a picture thanking the 1 million pre orders from China recieveed during the last 4 days .The smartphone , which is scheduled for a March 25 sales launch is expected to be well recieved globally as it undercuts the lesser equipped competition with solid build quality , decent hardware and good prices and a desirable badge .

For a company that purposefully steered away from Android, Nokia sure is making a lot of fuss about its upcoming Android phone. The device in question, the Nokia X A110, was caught in China. It's supposed to join the Asha line and it looks the part – it has a single back button below the screen. That's because the A110 will run a customized version of Android. The UI certainly looks quite different – obviously inspired by Windows Phone's live tiles. The Store shortcut will lead to an separate app repository (not the Play Store) but so far little is known about it. Nokia will also be replacing Google's Maps with its own HERE suite and the Nokia X A110 will come with a free navigation license for one country. According to The Wall Street Journal, Nokia will release its first Android smartphone this month. Known as Nokia Normandy, the low-cost handset will reportedly be showcased during MWC in Barcelona. According to WSJ’s sources, Nokia was hard at work on the device while Microsoft was performing due diligence prior to its acquisition of the Finnish company. The smartphone will allegedly go official as Nokia X. Unsurprisingly, the smartphone is tipped to launch without Google Play support, similarly to Amazon’s Kindle products. Instead, it will be focused on services provided by Microsoft and Nokia. In line with recent leaks, the UI of the upcoming smartphone is also said to be closely related to Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8. Rumored specs of the Nokia X include dual-core Snapdragon 200 SoC, dual-SIM, 4” WVGA display, 4GB of built-in memory, and 512MB of RAM.
