Motral Kombat X will bring back some old memories , with new skills

Mortal Kombat has been around for a really long time, most of us have surely spend countless hours battling out in single or multiplayer modes until we hit the famous "Finish him" to use combo powers , but now , the fighting series is set to get a refresh with Mortal Kombat X. Although a teaser shows us some skills of Raiden ,the game is still not ready for release ,and its developers - NetherRealm studios and Warner Bros didnt specify a time frame either , The game is said to be available on the Playstation 3 and 4 , Xbox 360 , Xbox One and PC so it will surely bring back some old memories into the present . Some of Raiden's skills - (usual characters are also said to be upgraded) Thunder God. The first style shown focuses on flashy combos that incorporate several electric blasts. This makes Raiden more of an in-your-face sort of fighter as he needs to get in close to his opponent to deal serious damage. Displacer. Raiden's second style is all about tricks...

Rival Knights Game review

Apologies for the delay ,this review was originally written on the 3rd of July ,but we weren't able to publish it due to technical issues .Written by Rakitha for MasHD Hear ye , Hear ye , Gameloft has introduced a new game for all yer mobile gamers .dubbed Rival Knights , the game is basically jousting for your phone or tablet .The game basically revolves around the super cool Medieval sport of jousting ,at first you are basically playing as a n00b squire who starts from the bottom of the royalty food chain and slowly make your way to the top . The game is pretty simple to understand and you can compete against rival knights online . anything else ...nope , that's it , no death or glory here ,and even if you lose a match , you don't need to go all Ser Gregor Clegane ( Game of Thrones ) on your horse either , so ..it looks like another fun and enjoyable game from the company that made Asphalt and Modern combat  or is it? Epic Games runs a Unreal Engine 4 demo on a Nexus 5

Mobile gaming has come a long way since the introduction of Angry Birds and Fruit ninja , The mobile game industry is now a million dollar industry where new games as well as old pc titles appear in touch screen format in all major platforms ,but even with all the new technology , Mobile devices have always been a few years behind their console counterparts .But as technology moves on , we see the gap getting smaller and smaller , and as mobile chipsets get more capable each year ,the need to show off their capabilities get even higher , and so the popular game development company Epic Games , unveiled a little teaser of their highly anticipated Unreal Engine 4 on a device with a slightly old processor . The device is none other than the Nexus 5,which when it was rolled out , was one of the fastest devices around , but in less than a year, Qualcomm announced the Snapdragon 801 which bests the Snapdragon 800 found on the Nexus 5 and many other phones of last year.Although it is no ...

Upcoming Wolfenstein game will carry access to a beta version of Doom "4"

There aren’t many details about the release or any features, but if you pre-order Wolfenstein: The New Order, you’ll have access to the beta. Just when the beta is going to be available is unclear, however. All Bethesda is saying is that the only way access to the beta is ensured, is by pre-ordering the upcoming Wolfenstein game. What we do know is that it’s not being called, “Doom 4”. There hasn’t been a new Doom game since Doom 3, which was released in 2004 and enjoyed both critical and commercial success on multiple platforms. We don’t know which platforms the Doom game will be available on, but there’s a good chance that it be cross-platform, given the brand recognition of the franchise, and that Wolfenstein: The New Order will be available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC on May 20. Flappy Bird Game review

The mobile gaming industry has gone to great lengths in promoting console quality gaming for the masses , Today we have Quad and Octa core processors in smartphones and tablets with many gigabytes of RAM to play the latest editions of GTA , Asphalt and Infinity blade etc  ,these games bleed with graphics , usual game violence and usually end up heating your gadgets to a almost melting point , but even with this , these big title games from super-rich companies  sell well even-though they cost a dollar or two ,and most of them are top hits whether it be iOS,Android (and windows phone) and in this capitalistic environment , the world of independent and "freebie" game development almost seems to be non existent , but recently (a few days ago), a simple but addictive free game has hit the top charts and is  taking the world by storm , this game is none other than - Flappy Bird  Plot Gameplay and controls   This game is basic , and when i say basic there ...

GTA San Andreas for mobile game review

GTA San Andreas "2004 called, it want's its game back" this was my first reaction when i downloaded and opened the brand new GTA San Andreas app for iOS (coming soon to WindowsPhone /Android) for the first tim.The game is the third GTA game for mobile devices after GTA 3 and the all time favourite GTA Vice City. The $6.99 game will hopefully bring back some old memories to veteran GTA players who will find the plot to be very familiar , but sadly the stock thumb controls and the poor explosions -a la poor graphics makes the game look a little dull, To be honest , i also found the game a bit too large for a mobile device ,but that is mainly due to the complexity of the maps and the details in the game but still, the 1.7GB game will need atleast 3.5GB+ of free space to download without getting a failed to download error ,but hey ,you can still brag about playing a former console/PC game on your mobile device now and that alone is enough for most gadget addicts ...

Ingress brings a whole world of augmented reality gaming to Android , coming to iOS in the near future

This week the folks at Google and Niantic have released their cages from the “closed beta” edition of Ingress to allow this augmented reality game to all. The game remains in “beta” mode, though we’re essentially seeing the entirety of this environment’s gameplay live right this minute. This game will be available to iOS users in the future, but for the time being – it’s all about Android. The big draw with this game is partially in how it’s been closed off as an exclusive title until now – but there’s also the fact that you’re playing on a real landscape, using Google Maps to see where you need to go to take over your neighborhood. At the moment the Android restriction for this game stands. Google has promised an iOS version of the game in the future, but it may be in the wings until early 2014 – not that long off. This game was promoted several times in a big way over the past several months. We saw invites handed out to all developers at the 2013 edition of Google I/O. Google al...

Dead Trigger 2 Halloween game review

Dead trigger 2 by MADFINGER Games , app review by Rakitha Peiris FonePressMagazine  magazine features a full review , you can download it by clicking here . If you are a fan of Zombie apocalypse themed games , then Dead trigger might probably be a house hold name .The first game started its life as a $0.99 app but Madfinger games quickly decided to release it as a freemium game because of the high level of piracy the game experienced after it was officially launched on Android last year . However , being freemium , the game was webbed with lots of in app purchases , the game was also effected with the lack of depth in the form of a proper storyline and the gameplay almost felt repetitive at times , but the game was popular for one reason - its almost eye candy graphics which made it one of the best games for mobile devices last year so obviously , its sequel will be just as great ..so lets take a look Plot ,Gameplay and controls The game begins with a short into video s...

Dead Trigger 2 is now available for download , get your zombie killing gear ready (iOS version is available now , Android's Play Store will get it in a couple of hours)

A little over a month ago, MadFinger Games released a new trailer for their zombie blasting sequel to Dead Trigger, along with a release date of October 23rd. If you don't happen to have a calendar handy, let me help you out: today is October 23rd and Dead Trigger 2 [Free] has officially launched in the App Store. So far, early impressions in our forums suggest that, just like the first game, Dead Trigger 2 is a graphical showpiece. There is a greater emphasis on story this time around, though it will take some time playing to discover if it really is an improvement over the first game's repetitive nature of shooting wave after wave of zombies in confined areas. There are also encounters with massive bosses, a "Hideout" where you can unlock and upgrade tons of new weapons and items, and for some reason there are lots and lots of chickens. Grenade chickens, rocket launcher chickens, and machine-gun mounted chickens. Huh. If you were a fan of the first game then th...

Nvidia announces a new PC to Shield streaming service called NVIDIA GameStream.

This week the folks at NVIDIA have let it be known that they’ll be pushing the gaming industry forward with a technology called NVIDIA GameStream. Expanding on the PC streaming abilities of NVIDIA SHIELD, this technology will allow GeForce GTX graphics cards to work with SHIELD and large monitors as well as NVIDIA GRID. This streaming technology takes what the original NVIDIA SHIELD presentation pre-supposed and makes it real: streaming outside of the home network. image - Legitreviews http://goo.gl/ifWzZa This GameStream technology takes the NVIDIA SHIELD universe and expands it with extended streaming capabilities within NVIDIA GRID. Streaming from an NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan graphics card-toting PC to an NVIDIA SHIELD device straight out to a 4K television is just one of the several abilities inherent in this setup. Another is streaming out to a massive television from the Android software built-in with NVIDIA SHIELD. Tegra 4 is being pushed today as a game console, as well...

Nvidia G-Sync module kills gaming monitor tearing

via- Engadget NVIDIA has revealed G-Sync, a new module for gaming monitors that, when used with a GeForce GPU, helps avoid tearing and skipping. The new hardware, shown off by NVIDIA CEO Jen-Hsun Huang at the company’s Editor’s Day in Montreal, works around the limitations of V-Sync, the system by which monitors currently deal with changing refresh rates, by setting up a path of direct communication between display and graphics card and synchronizing the refresh rate of both together. As gamers know, frame rates during play can change considerably, and that can leave monitors looking blurry or tearing. V-Sync currently works by effectively locking the graphics card to a single refresh rate depending on the capabilities of the display itself: so, if the display is running at 30Hz, and the frame rate is 30fps, then the GPU won’t push any new data to the panel until it knows it has cleared the old cycle. This, though, can lead to judder or input lag, and also means gaming monitor...

GTA V makes $1 billion in three days, might be the fastest selling entertainment product to date

Calling Grand Theft Auto V one of 2013's most anticipated video game releases would be a massive understatement, but if you wanted some sort of monetary proof of the claim, Take-Two interactive has it. According to a press release issued today, GTA V has cleared over $1 billion in sales in its first three days on the market; crunch the numbers, and that adds up to more than 16.5 million units sold. Take-Two says that it believes this makes it the fastest selling entertainment property in history -- the last major release to make that claim, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, took 15 days to reach the milestone. It's an impressive accomplishment, but it's potentially only the tip of the iceberg: GTA V is rumored to be ported to PC and next generation consoles, and has a literal product lifetime to hold down its sales record. engadget

GTA V jumps the gun , Rockstar to investigate

Rockstar is investigating reports of early sales of its highly anticipated game, Grand Theft Auto V, which jumped the gun on the official release date of 17 September. The company confirmed to GamesIndustry International that is was "in the process of investigating early 'sales' to determine how and why this is occurring". The problem revolves around online retailer Amazon, which has dispatched copies of the game to consumers who pre-ordered the title. Images from social media services have confirmed the leak. As well as Amazon's breaking of the street date for Grand Theft Auto V, a bricks and mortar game store in Paris has reportedly been selling copies of the game in advance of its release as well. There is also a video on YouTube apparently showing an 11-year-old child being given an early copy of the game as a gift. At this point it might be useful to know that GTA V has a PEGI 18 rating in the UK and an ESRB rating of "Mature" in North A...
