Russia might ban iPhone and iPads from 1st of January 2015

According to a new Report from Russia , Apple mobile devices -namely the iPhone series and iPad tablets are said to be be banned from sale starting from 1st of January ,2015 . The move ,according to sources is said to be the result of a new legislation that dictates that all online services should keep localized data in Russia , currently , Apple's iCloud service has servers based in the U.S and so Russia is doubtful and concerned about data stored beyond its borders .One solution to overcome a ban will be for Apple to open a dedicated Server site in Russian soil catering its citizens ,and if the law goes into effect , users currently owning iDevices will be shut out from accessing iCloud due to ISP banning but so far Apple has kept silent on the issue . iCloud leaks it all ....

The Cloud , a service that basically becomes a dump to store all your data online can be beneficial as you can sync the data to multiple devices almost anywhere but like everything , there is a catch , and this catch is privacy .Personally , i rarely use the cloud , and my usage usually revolves around me syncing mostly not so useful documents , but the majority tend to upload many other things , such as pictures , which may be scandalous at times , and such a scandal did happen today as a new iCloud leak dumped nude #nsfw photographs of 101 famous stars including some pictures from popular ones such as Jennifer Lawrence ,Avril lavigne and even unexpected ones like  Ariana Grande and Victoria Justice . The leak , or lets say the file dump was first released to 4Chan and then Reddit .the photos , which were downloaded off celebrity iCloud accounts , quickly spread around the #nsfw community and now , some of the stars who's alleged photos were leaked have started to express their ...

Xiaomi makes cloud messaging optional after privacy issues were detected

Xiaomi has recently enjoyed a lot of enthusiasm in the global market , the Chinese manufacturer , which is now the 5th largest OEM in the world , is responsible for best sellers like the Mi3 and the Redmi Note , which made up most of Xiaomi's foreign sales , but now , it turns out that Xiaomi's MIUI interface , which runs on -top of Android is making some users feel uneasy after it introduced a cloud texting service , which is similar to Apple's iCloud . The service comes as default and now it is basically making many people feel worried after the service is known to have privacy issues where details about the phones IMEI , contacts , messages , phone numbers and other data are stored in a Server in China . Although using any cloud service has its vulnerabilities , the Xiaomi incident is kind of worrying to many as the Chinese government can easily tap into the information , this however led the ex Google'r Hugo Barra , VP of Xiaomi  to explain that the feature will n...

Woz warns about dark clouds

We live In a world that is rapidly evolving ,we shifted from harddrives to flash.memory and now we are about to embrace cloud storage as the next step in evolution ,but did we ever think about the cons of the cloud ? And the possible dangers it may pose to our privacy ? Apple's co founder Steve Wozniak (the woz ) after a trade show in Washington said " I am really worried about everything going to the cloud ,I think it is horrendous and I think there are going to be many problems in the next 5 years " what he says is true ....most of us simply dump our important documents to a cloud storage and sometimes forget to encrypt a password ...even if it is encrypted it still can be accessed ....imagine if a PSN (PLAYSTATION NETWORK HACK OF 2011)  style hack happens to a cloud service ...all your photos and important files remain at the fate of the hackers who may use it for their purposes ...and what if your data suddenly gets confiscated for no reason ...most cloud sites have t...
