DJI has announced their latest action camera - the Osmo Action 3. The announcement, which falls directly ahead of the upcoming GoPro Hero 11 series, brings a 1/1.7 12MP sensor with a 155 degree lens and f2.8 aperture and shoots 4K 120 fps and 1080p at 240 fps in 16:9 and you can also use horizonsteady to keep footage level but this is cropped to 2.7k@60fps. Other features include rocksteady 3.0 for digital stabilization and there is a quick release style mount which allows the action camera to be placed horizontally or vertically for social media. The camera is capable of operating in -20c upto 45c and can record upto 160 minutes continuously. The chassis is capable of surviving upto 16m under water without a case and if you plan to use it for vlogging, you can use a variety of accessories including mics with a USB C to 3.5mm attachment and supports fast charging.
